Same here!! They are great books, especially since he started writing them at the age of 15...

Exactly! That's just amazing! Besides, I've tried to find other books that has the same kind of ideas about dragons like those in "Eragon", but I haven't found any.. I really think it's uniq - his idea with the dragons and how they bond with their riders :)

Eragon is probably the worst book I have ever read. Sorry guys.

I refuse to read Ender because the author is a nutjob from what I have seen of him. Dresden is beyond awesome

There are many actors and authors that I disagree with on a political and social level but I look beyond that to the skill that they show in their given field otherwise I would be missing out on some great art. The Ender's game books are great examples of that.
I couldnt even get through the first few chapters, it was sooo boringg
In terms of literary value, these books are crap, but I found them to be highly entertaining and charming at times.

All in all, this is a horrible book which shouldn't have been published the way it was. This story needed a lot of refinemend which it didn't get and that broke its neck. It's nice if you like it, but it's crap. There's nothing wrong with liking crap.
I think Sparrowlicious nailed it. I feel exactly the same way
