Kimi (kimisokool) | 22 comments Yes I second Mel and Danielle. Read Night Huntress. 1 through 4 are in my top 20 favorite books! Also read this series:

Slave to Sensation
Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh

Nalini Singh is great. Guild Hunter is cool too but I'm in love with this series currently. On book 9 I think. =)

Evie Jayne (eviejayne) | 6 comments Midnight breeds-Lara Adrian, Chicagoland Vampires-Chloe Neill, Downside Ghosts-Stacia Kane, Georgina Kincaid- Richelle Mead. These are what I consider the best written series in paranormal/urban fantasy around.Hopefully one or two of them will grab you.

Alison Luff | 2 comments You might wasn't to try Sherrylin kenyon. Steamy romance great characters.

message 9: by Missyb (new)

Missyb | 99 comments Reynolds series Vampires In America. First book is Raphael (Vampires in America, #1) by D.B. Reynolds .
Argeneau series by Sands. Funny, great characters, sex.
Could try the Sookie Stackhouse series by Harris, or the Anita Blake or Meredith Gentry series by Hamilton. They have the steamyness, lots of characters, and good story (for most of the series).

Susan (sg6169) | 3 comments Hey Violet,

I'm new to this site and this is my very 1st post. I'm in the same boat as you. I need another fantastic series to dive into. Although new to this site, I've been reading paranormal romance for awhile and LOVE it.
I can definitely recommend:
Nalini Singh's ................Psy-Changling and Guild Hunter series. So far my favorite
JR Ward's .....................Black Dagger Brotherhood and Fallen Angel's series
Karen Marie Moning's ..Fever and Highlander series
Kresley Cole's ...............Immortals after Dark series
Lara Adrian's .................Midnight Breed series
Larissa Ione's ................Demonica and Lords of Deliverance series
Sydney Croft's ...............Acro series

I started Jacquelyn Frank's series Nightwalkers but didn't find the writing as mature as the one's above and stopped after the 1st book Jacob's story.
I also started Christine Feehan's Dark series and again the caliber of writing had me groaning but not in a good way.

If anyone has any other suggestions for series similar to Nalini Singh's or those I've listed above, I'd appreciate it.

Thoroughly recommend Gena Showalters Lords of the Underworld. Fantastic characters and lots of humour and hot action. The first one is The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter

Nightwalkers by Jacquelyn Frank is a pretty good series. It is not long (6 books) and moves fast. There are many different species such as vampires, demons, and other new cool characters.

Gabrielle Blaque/~Bhlack Benehvolence~ (werewolfgrl1) | 304 comments Oh I love the Nightwalker series I really enjoyed it!

Another series that I'm just starting is one entitled The Others series I just finished the second book and it kept me panting throughout the book, the males are yummy and their females are awesome!

Book One - One Bite With A Stranger (The Others #1) by Christine Warren

Book Two - Big Bad Wolf (The Others, #2) by Christine Warren

I'm loving this series so far it also has it's funny moments as well especially when it comes to some of the arguments between the main characters.

Another series that I'm getting into that you might like is a series entitled The Westfield Wolves the first book is called A Certain Wolfish Charm (Westfield Wolves, #1) by Lydia Dare ,

I hope these book hold at least some intrigue for you guys.
