She smiled and blushed, "I know. Je espoir."

message 552: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin looked down at her and pulled away slightly so he could see her face completely.
"What does that mean?", he asked.

message 553: by [deleted user] (new)

"As I mentioned before 'Je' is 'I' and 'espoir' is 'hope'," she smiled.

message 554: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin shook his head," You so did not mention that before". Benjamin then looked around his room and pulled a face: his eyebrows raised and his mouth line drawn slightly. The room was a mess.

message 555: by [deleted user] (new)

She chuckled, "I've mentioned it a MILLION times before. And I even slowed down and pronounced it super properly just so you could hear it. Normally it's just 'J'espoir' I said it 'Je espoir'."

message 556: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin just laughed and put his hand down in embarrassment. He wiped his face with his hand briefly and said softly," I am not good at remembering things, don't judge me". He smiled at her gently.

message 557: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, "It's ok. When I was learning English I kept forgetting stupid things like you only have one word for 'because'."

message 558: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin laughed," Yes that's true. How many words do you have for it?". He walked to his bed and sat on it comfortably. He placed his hands behind his head and leaned against the headboard.

message 559: by [deleted user] (new)

She sat next to him, "Two. 'Parce que' for if its followed by a verb I believe and 'à cause de' for if it's noun. I kept trying to think of the second 'because' in you're language when I was talking at first." She laughed.

message 560: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin's eyes widened slightly and jokingly.
"Ha!", he laughed," I will probably forget that by the next hour or so". Benjamin was never really good with languages or math.
Benjamin grabbed her by her hips and pulled her closer, bringing her towards his side to lean against softly.

message 561: by [deleted user] (new)

Her widened in surprise but she didn't reject. Instead she blushed when he grabbed her like that and brushed at her hair. She half smiled, "Well, you said you didn't want to learn French anyways..."

message 562: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin looked at her softly and shrugged," Who knows? I might pick up a few words along the way". Benjamin sighed and lay his head softly on her, closing his eyes but not falling asleep.

message 563: by [deleted user] (new)

She sighed, "Ya...maybe..." She hoped he didn't leave because she knew she couldn't. Ever. Paris and France were her life. This was her dream. Living in a place where everyone knew her first and most beloved language. Where it was many people's too. America wasn't like that. They all spoke English and rarely bothered to learn any other language. She'd be the outcast, the one out of place there. This was where she belonged.

message 564: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin sighed, breathing in and out softly and calmly. He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her gently.
"Let's not think of the future, all we have to think about is now", he whispered warmly. Benjamin was happy with what they were now, what had become of them and their relationship.

message 565: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, "Okay. But all I've ever thought about is my future." She liked how sweet her voice sounded around him. How innocent and happy.

message 566: by Niran (new)

Niran "Then maybe it's time you stop", Benjamin opened his eyes and smiled at her softly, shrugging while he said so. The future was good to think about, but if it was over thought sometimes good things never came out of it.

message 567: by [deleted user] (new)

gtg

She sighed, "I don't know how..." It felt and sounded stupid despite it's truth.

message 568: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin chuckled slightly," There's no technique to it, it's nothing to learn". He sighed slightly and said," It's.. You just do it". Benjamin shrugged softly and cuddled closer to her.

message 569: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, closing her eyes, trying to never forget this moment, "Ok, Ben. Je t'aime."

message 570: by [deleted user] (new)

((?))

message 571: by Niran (new)

Niran (sorry)
Benjamin sighed and smiled down at Madeline, he then kissed her forehead slowly and said,"Has it worked?", in a jokey way.

message 572: by [deleted user] (new)

She chuckled, "Kind of ya."

message 573: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin sighed and smiled," See, I told you. It's nice not giving a damn about the future". He chuckled slightly and held her.

message 574: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, "I guess..." it was obvious she still had her head looking foreward as usual but she tried to snuggle into Ben all the same.

message 575: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin sighed and held her tighter, he squeezed her once for comfort and then kissed the side of her head. He placed one hand on her head and started running his fingers through it.

message 576: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, liking this a lot.

message 577: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin saw his guitar from across the room and said," One minute". He slowly untangled himself from her and got the guitar. He walked back to the bed and sat on it, placing the guitar in the right position.

message 578: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled and sat crosslegged on the bed, "Play me something! Play me something!"

message 579: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin laughed and said," Of course, but I'm just going to play something random". Benjamin got in position and started to slowly strum the chords which played a soft, gently harmony.

message 580: by [deleted user] (new)

She hummed along sweetly.

message 581: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin continued to play the guitar and smiled as Madeline hummed along. He played the soft melody and sighed happily as he did.

message 582: by [deleted user] (new)

She watched his fingers play, fascinated.

message 583: by Niran (new)

Niran As Benjamin played, he looked down a couple times at the chords just to see if he was actually doing any good. He looked up at Madeline and the guitar playing slowly came to an end.

message 584: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, "That was great."

message 585: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin smiled and asked," Really?". To hear that she enjoyed it made him love music even more.

message 586: by [deleted user] (new)

"Ya," she grinned.

message 587: by [deleted user] (new)

((yo?))

message 588: by Niran (new)

Niran ( whoops sorry)

Benjamin smiled and looked down, blushing slightly. He then placed the guitar back against the wall and said," Madeline, what are you studying here?".

message 589: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled, "English. I want to be an English major and a French minor so I can be an author in both languages but my English grammar and spelling is HORRIBLE so that's why I decided to major in it. French is easier and since I'm here I decided might as well minor in the language I love."

message 590: by Niran (new)

Niran "Your English speaking is good, when I first heard you speak I thought you were British or something", Benjamin smiled softly and nodded at the subjects she was taking.
"You want to be an author?", he smiled, because he loved books.
"What's your favourite type of books to read?".

message 591: by [deleted user] (new)

((i hate sisters))

She grinned, happy he liked it, "I know. I've been teaching myself English since I was five from books and TV and other stuff. Ya, I want to be an author. I like to read anything. Adventures, murder mysteries, classics, Shakespeare, anything. I'm planning to write murder mysteries though."

message 592: by Niran (new)

Niran (( why? :( )

Benjamin smiled at how ambitious and striving she was. "I love murder mysterious", he said with a grin, he was sure to read her books one day. Then his eyes widened slightly at her first comment," You've been teaching yourself English since the age of five?". That was hard, for a five year old and for anyone!

message 593: by [deleted user] (new)

((my little sis was ticking me off right after my mom had gotten ticked off at me for AGREEING with her?! what IDIOT is like that?))

She laughed and nodded, "Ya. I tried to find picture books in both French and English and picked up a few words and by highschool was teaching myself from Level 4 English textbooks. I hope a lot of people reads the books but glad to know you will."

message 594: by Niran (new)

Niran (( Oh, I dont have a little sibling but I used to do that to my brother. Dont worry, just ignore her and try to stay calm))

Benjamin was still shocked that she taught herself English," Thats so amazing, Madeline". He couldnt even teach himself how to spell certain words!
He laughed and smiled," I know I'll read your books and im sure other people will too".

message 595: by [deleted user] (new)

((ugh. they drive me nuts))

She blushed, "Thank you for both, but I can speaking a language is easy. It's the spelling that's hard. And the fact you English speaking people actually pronounce the 'h' at the beginning of words is hard. It makes a funny sound I have never liked." She had slipped into her French accent and left off all the h's. It made her blush deeper.

message 596: by Niran (new)

Niran (( Thats what family do right :P))

Benjamin just chuckled and said," Sorry your highness". He bowed his head down in sarcasm and a joking way. He then grinned at her as she blushed hugely and liked the way she looked when she blushed. She looked cute.

message 597: by [deleted user] (new)

((i guess))

She rolled her eyes, "It's not like you created English. I'm not blaming you. It's just wierd. And hard to say."

message 598: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin nodded," English can be difficult, but once it's learnt it's easy". Benjamin lay on the bed softly and looked up at his plain, empty ceiling.
"I need to get some personality in here", he stated.

message 599: by [deleted user] (new)

She laughed, "I could help you. As you saw mines all sunset and girly colors."

message 600: by Niran (new)

Niran Benjamin chuckled and shook his head," I'm sure us manly men don't want those colours". Then he looked around the room and said," But you can help out if you want to".
