Jenny | 210 comments Finally got my entry in. I wrote it last Monday in my head while doing the ironing but it's hung around on bits of scrap paper in my handbag for a week.

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Hell, you have to do something in your head while ironing. Or don't iron!

Marc Nash (sulci) | 4313 comments That changes the betting somewhat...

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments About to sit down and let the music wash over me (and hopefully inspire me...) :)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments Provoked?

Strong word! Will we be getting an anti-classical music rant as your submission?! lol

not as such... :-)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments Just going to submit mine now, after some ruthless editing - it's so hard to keep to such a short word count but I like the challenge!

message 60: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments Done and submitted. I'm intrigued to see what folk make of it! Looking forward to reading others' entries...

Marc Nash (sulci) | 4313 comments I was tortured as a child by classical music & opera. John Peel was my saving angel...

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments I miss John Peel.

My story has not gestated yet

Marc Nash (sulci) | 4313 comments I used to work in an indie record store. The great man came in for some vinyl now and again. One of my colleagues was chatting to him and saying how his wife was overdue with their third child and could Peel play her a song on that evening's show. Peel duly obliged playing a song by Napalm Death as "that ought to induce labour" he said.

I miss him too.

message 68: by Jud (new)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I'll go and get an entries thread open.

Was only in the door and people were shouting for me to do things. Nightmare.

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments I couldn't write anything for this. It was far too hard but the entries are amazing.....
