Finally got my entry in. I wrote it last Monday in my head while doing the ironing but it's hung around on bits of scrap paper in my handbag for a week.

Hell, you have to do something in your head while ironing. Or don't iron!

Just going to submit mine now, after some ruthless editing - it's so hard to keep to such a short word count but I like the challenge!

I used to work in an indie record store. The great man came in for some vinyl now and again. One of my colleagues was chatting to him and saying how his wife was overdue with their third child and could Peel play her a song on that evening's show. Peel duly obliged playing a song by Napalm Death as "that ought to induce labour" he said.I miss him too.
