I'd like to correct that as well. But I'm guessing when I associate my account with the author I should be able to do that.

Does the system automatically not log the second author? I just noticed a number of other titles that I entered that are missing the second author?

mIEKAL, The "system" is usually what Goodreads gets from Amazon or outside sources. If they don't list the second author, which they often do not, Goodreads librarians have to manually add them. I've noticed with children's picture books I often have to add the illustrator.

These particular one's are listed correctly on Amazon. So another book that needs an author added is this one:

the second author's name is Geof Huth.

mIEKAL, I don't know why the second author sometimes does not come through. When it's at Amazon it usually does. I might have been able to use Amazon refresh but it the above case I simply manually added the second author. EDIT: which is a good thing because I don't see what you see. I see this book at Amazon with first author only. EDIT: And I switched around the authors to match the book cover. Nothing is at World Cat or google books.

I've never actually checked the Amazon page, just assumed they were correct there. But you are right, they are incorrect there as well. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for your help.

MIEKAL, Never assume that information coming from Amazon is accurate. It often isn't and it's one of the main reasons we need librarians here at Goodreads.

If something is updated on Amazon does it automatically get updated in Goodreads?

mIEKAL, No. Librarians have to click on edit book and then click the Refresh book data from Amazon link in order to update the information here.

And if the corrected info is author names, that link won't do it either. Only a manual edit will.
