Ginger Myrick (gingermyrick) | 43 comments Hello, all!

I have been tagged in a promotion that requires me to tag 5 more authors in my blog on Friday, November 9th. I am having trouble finding my final writer. It is a great idea with potential for exponential growth and exposure. Is there one more writer out there who would like to participate? I figure if we get a good response, in the future if someone is in the same predicament, he could refer back to this discussion to fill his spots. I have included a sort of template for the post below:

I am happy to take part in The Next Big Thing: Authors Tagging Authors! I was tagged by ______ and I am thrilled to keep this going. So what I am going to do is answer the questions below, tag a new set of 5 authors, then they answer, tag authors, etc. I’m going to be answering questions about my WIP.

What is the working title of your book?
Where did the idea come from for the book?
What genre does your book fall under?
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
And for the authors I have tagged:

The tagged authors at the end would have to post on their blogs the following week (Friday, November 16th.) Anyone interested?

Ginger Myrick (gingermyrick) | 43 comments Hi, Sheila!

The above posted discussion is basically like the game tag combined with a chain letter. I really cannot explain it any further that what I have written above.

I don't know if you are talking about that discussion or if you are referring to this one: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...

... wherein you provide links for your books at Amazon, and the other participants in the discussion will click on them and like and agree with pertinent tags on your product page. The theory is that the likes add up and make your books more visible to potential buyers. If you plan to participate in that group, I would suggest you start at the end of the thread and work your way back. That way you can be sure to hit the active members first.

Hope this helped! And we were all ignorant marketing newbies at one time. I have been doing this for a year and still have NO clue!
