I like late 1800s myself Danielle, though I prefer England to Old West. I like the idea of a few comforts like plumbing and a relatively better position for women in society compared to the beginning of the century, along with the gorgeous dress code and the gracious manners of social behaviour that are almost forgotten today.

Hmmm, really, I'd love to visit them all, medieval on up. I'd probably pick the 1800s though, any point in the century. There was a little technology and stuff going on to make life easier, but it was still the old days. I'd prefer England over America too, but it would be neat to go to the old west, so it's a toss up. Otherwise, in the 1900s, I like the 40s and 50s, but I think I'd like to be in my early twenties in the 60s... it'd be fun being part of the whole counter culture movement, right there when all that awesome music and stuff was happening. But I guess if I had to pick just one, it'd be the 1800s.

Maybe attend a weekend party at a large country estate during Regency England or even peek in at a ball in London. But just for a short time!

I was a child in the 1960s but I would have loved being 18 ish at the beginning of the '60's. I love the music - no not the Beatles but Sergio Mendes and Herb Alpert, that's the music I would love to have listened to when they were initially out. Also a lot of the big singers were still alive and I would have been able to see them at a concert Louie Prima, etc.
I would have a hard time letting go of even the most basic modern amenities; I don't even like camping! Not to mention what women had to endure prior to the present age. But if I could do the bystander thing safely...Then there's so much I would want to see: Thebes when it was the capital of ancient Egypt, Solomon's Temple while it held the Ark, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Parthenon before the Romans removed the sculpture of Athena, The Library of Alexandria before it burned down...
That's only tiny a bit of my time-travel bucket list, and I haven't even added anything after antiquity... But I wouldn't want to get stuck in any of those eras.

Like those time period too, but like you said Pam only for a short time. But before I would go I would need to make sure I was groomed to the fullest and no teeth issues! I need my Venus shaver and image having to see the dentist! Lol...
