group read schedule and rules

The only rule is not to post spoilers past the percentage in the title which I change each week. Here is the schedule we go by.

Week one: I change the title of the current group read to say spoilers to 25% as soon as you hit the 25% point you can start or join in the discussion. novella reads will be changed to 50% as they are only two week reads.

Week two: I will change the title to say spoilers to 50% if the previous weeks conversation dies down early you may start the second week early just don't discuss until I change the title. I also post the following months suggestion thread in the second week and everyone is allowed 2 suggestions. novella reads will be changed to 100% spoilers, I also post the suggestion thread for novellas reads and like the normal group read each person gets two suggestions.

Week three: I will change the title of the current week to say spoilers to 75% and change our second novella read of the month to say spoilers to 50%. I will make a poll with all the suggestions for the next month for both the novel and novella reads.

Week four: I change the title to 100% for both the novel and novella group reads at this point all discussion on the books is open, feel free to go through all the previous book threads and discuss books you have read in the past. If we need to do a tie breaker for next month it will be a 3 day poll. As soon as we know what the following months book will be I create a thread that says spoilers to 0% this is to discuss the author, cover of the book, expectations of the book, etc..... this time is also used for anyone who wants to join in to get a copy of the book and to invite anyone they think may want to join us to the thread.

since novellas are only two week reads and we do two of them each month we take the top two winners in the poll.

all new threads/ polls/ updates are made on Sunday.

all current and upcoming reads can be found in the current and upcoming reads folder they will stay there for one week after the hit the 100% spoilers Mark for discussion and then be moved to their proper archives when the next book is ready to start.

There is a poll right now to decide what it will be, if you want to vote just scroll to the bottom of the groups main page or click on polls. It will start on march 3rd which is the first sunday of the month.

Where is the discussion for NOS4A2? I'm not seeing it anywhere.

each folder only shows the top four most recently commented on if you click on current and upcoming reads it will open the folder up and show all threads and you should see it. I will delete the suggestion threads soon to clean the folder up some and bring a couple more threads to the home screen.

no problem, I am avoiding the thread right now because I'm behind and don't want to see any spoilers. I started back in on it last night though and I'm about 75% in now. the thread will move to the group read archive folder when jigsaw man starts.
