I read this one a while ago...I would love to read it again but I can't remember the title or author? Any help would be wonderful...It was a good read.

Um, who is forced to work in the coal mine? And what trouble does he have with the law? And what about the father? And how long is "a while ago"? 1 year, 5 years, 15 years???
