Wow I love the way this discussion is set up. It's really easy to see and I'm looking forward to reading the lists. But for now, I'm just going to post my own.
1. Reading for research on Zimbabwe for my work in progress. I'm reading WHEN THE CROCODILE EATS THE SUN by Peter Godwin--a great memoir. Would also like to read Doris Lessing FOUR NOTEBOOKS.
2. I want to read several titles from National Book award. SHADOW COUNTRY,TELEX FROM CUBA, HOME
3.Classics--I'm now on TREASURE ISLAND. Next are some Chekhov stories.

I read Treasure Island back in Junior High and loved it. I should really read it again some time.

I just read Treasure Island a week or so ago. Not a bad book, if I might say!
