Sadie and Carter and inconsistencies

Leah I have a couple of questions about this series. Number one, in the beginning of The Throne of Fire, when they're up on the roof, Carter introduces Walt by mentioning that he's 14 years old. Later on, throughout the whole rest of the book, they refer to Walt as being 16 years old, which plays a key role in the plot.

This one may seem a bit odd, but in The Red Pyramid, Sadie comments about how Carter isn't very muscular so he looks weak without his shirt off (she mentions this first when he plays Basketball with Khufu) then later, when he's in Egyptian garb, she says "Carter's not the worst looking guy with his shirt off, but he looks funny in a skirt".

I know inconsistencies cannot be helped by authors but I want to know if anyone else noticed them but me.

i didnt notice them but between books on that second 1 carter has but traing and fighting thus gaining muscle strength. also sadie is closer to him then so it shows a change it characater and i think the 14 thing was just a typo or something.

Avery I agree on the typo

ya

Kendrastarr yeah, I think the Carter inconsistency just has to do with Sadie's point of view changing. The 14/16 change...I have no idea.

Kayla All has to do with Sadies outlook. but also rick riordan did the same thing in the pjo books with clarrise and silenas eye colors

No, when? In TLO (view spoiler)

Emma Hannah Maybe Walt just looks like he's younger (14) instead of his real age (16).

Caraline I don't get why Sadie is just barely 13 and yet two 16 year old guys are madly in love with her...

Reading Is Rad SSP Rick Riordan changes Sadie and Carter throughout the books. It's sometimes really confusing!!! Also the thing with Walt is confusing. Is he 16 or 14???? Rick Riordan needs to clear that up!!!

Alison It's not the first time he's made typos. In the Lost Hero, Jason and Percy were referred to being gone for three days in December. And then in SON, Percy's gone for eight months, since October. Has anyone else noticed that? I feel like I'm the only one... :)

I hadn't actually though of that, but yeah that is unusual."

its weird right??!! And I find it strange that they both felt competition to win a 13 y.o girls heart, while they are both 16 and there's plenty of other girls out there... hmmm, its a very innerestin sitchation :)
