Yes I agree! I think they understood each other. I liked their little team to help each other. I felt really bad for Noah not being able to live with his brothers. I wanted him to have them but I know it would have been really hard for him to support them. He does deserve to be a kid and go to college but it would be so sad to not live with you siblings. I was glad the parents finally worked with him and allowed him to visit whenever he wanted. At first I was so mad at them for keeping him away from his brothers. I felt so bad for Echo as well. Bipolar is such a difficult thing to deal with but then on top of that her dad was lying and hiding things and she had to deal with her babysitter being her new mom. It was a very emotional read!
I liked the way the family came around and welcomed Noah into their lives. He gets to be a part of a family, spend time with his brothers and pursue a life for himself. I cried during this part of the book.Echo had so much to deal with. She couldn't remember what happened and everyone lied to her or hid things from her. Noah seemed to be the rock she needed to lean on.
I loved Noah! I just didn't like the whole smoking weed thing, but I guess he needed some kind of vise with all the horrible crap that happened to him and his brothers. I liked that he and Echo got together. He accepted her scars while her old boyfriend couldn't. One of my favorite parts in the book was when Echo's father and step-mom were flabbergasted when Noah chalantly put his hand over her scars.
I loved the story! Noah and the love for his brothers made me cry at least 2 times! Echo got a better relationahip with her new family (i know it would be too hard for me to acept my dad's new family -like 4 books-) i really wanna read more about Beth and Isaiah :)
I loved this story! It was so sweet with the perfect amount of angst. I LOVE the duel POV because I always love to see what the guy is thinking. I love how their relationship was not only that.. they helped each other out and with that their relationship improved with others. I think that's a message that a lot of people miss out on when they start a relationship.. the other person is supposed to accentuate you, not bring you down. They are supposed to love everything about you, not make you feel bad. And that is the reason I love this book!
Hopefully going to start this one tonight (fingers crossed). Can't wait! If anyone else is starting to read it now would be great to chat about it as we go along!
This is the first contemporary novel I rated 5 stars, usually they are not my thing but I adored this novel. My favorite aspect of the story was definitely Noah's fight to get his brothers. Being the oldest I know that is exactly what I would have done had I been in his position. I also liked his relationship with Echo I felt like even though they each had their own problems they balanced each other out and were able to get their own happily ever after =)
I am impatiently waiting for this one from the library. I was very happy to find that my local library did have a lot of these YA contemporary books on Kindle.
I love the story line to this! This is first time in a contemporary novel where I was more hooked on the plot than the actual relationship. I'm probably the only who feels this way, but I wish more would happen with Noah and Echo to build up the anticipation even more.
Ok, I really, really liked this one. I loved the idea of an actual teenager that takes responsibility for their loved ones and wanting to do right for their family.

Yeah I loved how much Noah cared about his brothers.

Ar first I didn't think i would like this book but I loved it. Noah and Echo were so good together, plus the way Noah was with his brothers that was really sweet.
I just finished this book, and I loved it! I also loved the dual POV idea. I'm really loving that in so many different books right now! Here's my review if you want to read it!

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.
Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
What did you think of Noah and his mission to get his brothers? What about Echo and her mom? What did you think of them as a couple?
