Ada Macey (adamacey) | 11 comments So I've found an edition of Marquis de Sade's Letters from prison that is completely generic. It doesn't have an ISBN, a format, page numbers or anything to let you know what edition it is. It looks like someone has manually created a generic edition, perhaps when they couldn't find the correct edition.

So, my question is, is it appropriate to delete this edition to merge it with the "default" version of the book?

Yes, when there is no book information other than title and author (and both match the most popular edition), and the logs shows that there never was (as in this case), it is appropriate to merge it into the most popular edition.

As I just did with this one.
