did Simi and Nick haven't met again after the fateful event in seize the night...I'm kinda lost...will that event repeat history in CoN...I love Simi and Nick together...as much as I love Brynna for Nick but less for Kody.:)

i dislike kody for nick as well, i like her more for caleb, which is probably weird...as for simi and nick, they do meet when nick is younger ( in CoN), i don't know if the incident in seize the night will happen in CoN, but Con is suppose to be a sort of prequel ( i spell that wrong, sorry) for the DH books nick is in, and end with his DH book; which means there is some twist kenyon has in mind for us.

The event won't repeat itself cause in the CON books, adult Nick tells young Nick to consider Simi as family or strictly a friend. So the event won't even really happen at all. From how I took it.
I really have to get a hand on Nicks books and read them. I thought it was kind of cute that Nick was Simis first (and only?) and even understanding Simi and Ashs relation I thought his reaction a bit over the top but then didn't it have to happen that way so it could trigger everything else that came afterwards?
I think given Ash's past I understood where he was coming from. Cause for him having that curse on him by his aunt. I could pretty much understand why he would wig out when someone as near and dear to him would gain sexual knowledge and then try and rape him as well. Would be devastating if that person was someone you considered your own "child". As for it happening for a reason. I really don't know. Maybe so Manuela. I never considered it that way before. But likely cause I rarely believe things happen for a reason.
so sad and too bad, I think I need to stop shipping Nick and Simi loveteam though *sniff:_(
i think I'm gonna have to wait until all the DH books are finished so I can truly understand what is happening in CoN. So far DH is making sense and CoN is screwing with it
lol CoN makes sense on its own, but when I try to link it to DH, I get all confused. and I do think kenyon is going to link them because if she its gonna get more confusing since she'll have to rewrite nick's entire history in DH...just my opinion thou...
HELP PLEASEok, you guys and girls. you may be able to help me here.. Im re-reading the D-H series, i was about to start reading night pleasure when it come back to me what Ash said about nick.. That he wasn't meant to die and that the girl he was to marry also died.. I have a feeling at who he is talking about, but i just wanted to see what you said about it. Im trying to remember what book it was in and when it was said.
All i remember is it caused alot of pain to many people to see nick gone. more so to Ash, but he did say, the women he was meant to marry was murdered in her shop.. my feeling is that women was a devereaux. (as in Amanda and Tabitha sister).. What do you think..??????????????????

I haven't read nicks books yet so i don't know who Kody is. i was hoping it was gonna be something like talon and sunshine. with nick and (Insert name) souls.

Based on CON and some of the more recent DH books, it sounds as if he does not fall in love with anyone. He turned into Artie's new toy to replace Ash. I thought he was a dumbass for that move, but what do i know? Since there is tampering of the past, there is no telling where it could go. Espeically since it looks like he does not sleep with Simi in the CON branch of time. Gottta love time travel and how it changes how you see the stories. Fund to re-read after the CON and try and figure out what (if anything) would or would not happen as a result.
Yea, it was either Tina or Trina Devereaux that was killed in Seize the Night.I do think it would be interesting if she was reincarnated for Nick. But I think Nick has evolved/ is evolving down a different path these days. And not the same person he once was. So I don't think she would be a proper fit for the person he is becoming now. If that makes any sense.
I agree with you as well Valerie on Nick being another fly in Artie's web when they met watching Ash's wedding. I sooo felt bad for him. But at the same time maybe he'll see another side to Ash from it as well.
I don't think Nick marrying Amanda and Tabitha's sister was every actually going to happen. I think it was Menyara's protection of Nick showing Ash a harmless vision, so he wouldn't suspect what Nick is. (I acutally believe this was mentioned in a DH book) Rgardless of what Nick does, he will always be destined to be the Malachi. Although, with a new sibling in the mix things will get interesting!
The only thing sleeping with Simi did was make him kill himself and become a dark hunter. Seriously fighting a source God, and Stryker waking Noir up, is what unlocked his demon side.
By the way, I have not been very impressed with any of the female love interests in DH books, probably starting with Tory. I think Kody is step up from the others but sometimes too much mystery is a bad thing and knowing more about her, her past and motives, would probably make her more likeable.
I think in various realities anything could have been possible at one point or another. Kind of the cool part of books like this and well the Twilight Zone, lol.Well yea. Cause that is like having white parents, the kid is going to be white. It's pretty much fate really. Will have to catch up on my reading to get into the whole sibling side of things.
Can't forget sleeping with Simi also screwed up his relationship with Ash too.

I think she was referring to info in the third CON book. I've still not read quite yet. >_< I'm getting there.
I think nick and simi could be good friends but I don't see them as an item and in the DH series they haven't net again so far... In CoN they do but it's supposed to be a little different because future demon nick comes back and messes with the past repeatedly so I'm not sure what's gonna happen I can't wait for the new book !!!!

In regards to the Kody, we are three books in and know basically nothing about her and her origins. Even if Nick doesn't find out more about her, as a reader, I would like just a little bit more information here and there. Maybe more talks with the voice in her head to give a little bit more about her.
In regards to not particularly being impressed with the female leads of late, they seem to have lost some of their individuality. There are more similarities between them than things that make them unique and different. Kind of like reading a long series of crime novels, where the crime is always the same.

If Nick will finally have his own HEA, I'm actually thinking of a ful circle with him and Marissa together. A long shot, maybe but it makes sense to me.

I think anything is possible in a parallel universe. But not sure how much bleeds over from one plane to the next really. I mean maybe do to the changes that are being made with Nick's life in general(i.e. learning tons of stuff as a kid that he wasn't supposed to know about in the first place) is what is breeding these unexpected changes. Particularly a brother being created out of nowhere.
So now i have to re-read Infamous. Been a while and i don't remember about the other son. I am thinking maybe it is only in the CON books at this point based on the changing of the past, alternate universe stuff. If he is tampering with the past, there is no telling what impact it has on other things. Some of the Ambrose we see in CON is reflected in the DH books so...Well i have watched way too much Dr. Who and am probably thinking too much about the impacts on various universe.
Don't blame ya Valerie. Reasonable line of thinking with the various universe things. Particularly as the spin on the CON books going into another direction from the regular books. Hard not to be thinking the way that you are and even the way that we all are in a way.
HAHAHA the Nick Simi scene in Inferno was priceless!I have grown to love Nick and Kody they are my fave couple in the DH universe as of now.
