Nathan "N.R." Gaddis (nathannrgaddis) | 734 comments Bill is also an artist. He has created a number of collectors-only Book Objects which sell for several 1000's of $$$$. A wikipedia listing of them:

Somewhere is some info about this side of Bill's creative work which I will eventually post.

Nathan "N.R." Gaddis (nathannrgaddis) | 734 comments A little bit about the CoTangents for those of you with US$5000 burning a hole in your pocket. An excellent investment!

Nathan "N.R." Gaddis (nathannrgaddis) | 734 comments Sounds like a new CoTangent book ::

"New to me, since I think of him only as a novelist, were artist’s books by William T. Vollman [sic]. His most recent is a portfolio of woodblock prints that illustrate his own translation of the first stanza of the Nordic poem."

Still not known (?) if it's been published. According to Hemmingson, the thing's pretty much been finished since 2006. Some images from it had at one time been included with Terri Saul's interview "A Day at William T. Vollmann’s Studio" ::

This is the first time I've seen some of these paintings. But I believe a few at least were included in his exhibition last year in SF :: "It's My Job" ::
