Gatsby is the first Big Read in Wichta, KS this year.

"The Great Gatsby" is the first Big Read for the city of Wichita, Kansas this year. So, I am reading "The Great Gatsby" again. This is cool. The Big Read promotes reading in the Wichita area by having so many books each year for people to read and have some type of common thread. For instance, there is a contest that one can enter with "Gatsby" after reading the book. The contest is either for under 18 or over 18. The contest involves re-writing the ending of the book (I believe in 500 words or less) to have a different ending. What a novel idea.
