There are so many different awards that it would be impossible to list them all. Since you mention the Newbery and the Caldecott, I'm assuming you're primarily interested in children's book awards. Even just looking at children's book awards, there are far too many to list. The Newbery and the Caldecott are probably the best known in the U.S. They're given by the American Library Association. Here's a page with information and description about all the ALA children's awards, including the Newbery and the Caldecott:http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/divs/als...
The ALA also has a series of teen book awards which you can find here:

The Michael L. Printz Award is the top teen book award and is sort of the teen equivalent to the Newbery.
Then there's the National Book Award (in the U.S.) which has awards for adult fiction & non-fiction, poetry, and young people's literature:

These are awards given in the U.S., but other countries have their own prestigious awards. There are many other awards for children's books given by many organizations. Here's a site that lists some, but not all, of them, although it doesn't seem to have been updated in a while:

I've worked on an award called the Cybils, which is an award for children's and young adult books given by the children's literature blogging community. We just announced our 2008 winners a few days ago. Information on the Cybils can be found at:

Hope this helps!
