I think I got it fixed. I have to re-learn how to post photos to Goodreads every time I do it. Maybe one of these days I'll remember how.

Thanks! I actually rolled the clear glass into little colored ..."
Oh that's really interesting... I thought it was much harder but it looks great!!
And I am all for more wine! Unless a chicken knocks over the extra large wine glass...

Adorable, Amanda!

cute. That pattern is Barley, right?
edit: never mind. it is. Went to double check the pattern and saw your project on Ravelry. (not stalking, it is on the 1st page of projects!)

Esther, good eye! Barley was my first hat, so I thought it would be a good way to re-learn knitting. :)

That first barley looks great!!! Hts are quick so I agree, it was a good choice to get back to it. And Tincanknits patterns are well written.
Barley has been on my to knit list for years but never gets picked somehow. I almost did it for my mom 2 year ago when I was looking for something simple but with a bit of flair, to finally decided on Tread.

I ordered some watercolors recently because I thought they looked fun to try. I don't expect anything I create to be post worthy though. lol I look forward to seeing what you create. Your drawings were excellent!

Thanks for sharing, Roz!

thanks Roz.

I love water colors. It lets me color out side the lines.
That is my way of saying that edges don't need to be defined. I love to paint. When my RA got bad I thought I was done. But when using watercolor it is okay to have fuzzy edges. It actually enhances the picture. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Great one!

Watercolors can be tricky. I love to watch people use them but I have never painted with them much. The paper is expensive and I have always found acrylics to be more forgiving.

I used acrylics at school and never really got on with them. I always felt i could draw but couldn't paint. But maybe i didn't have the interest.
Oh Sarah, that fox is just wonderful! It looks like he is thinking "yes, I know, I'm very hansom".

Sarah I love you fox. You did a wonderful job. I love the way you flosted the color below his neck. I have a hard time getting things like that to look good

Thanks. I need to redo the cat one as they don't have much resemblance to her cats unfortunately.

I have been following you for a while on IG, you are talented.

I saw this online watercolouring course advertised a few weeks ago and I've always wanted to draw (but I'm really bad at drawing. Not just saying it, it's actually so. The same goes for singing. Both are things I'd love to be good at). I considered buying it, but then figured it would end up with the other hobbies I don't have time for, except during this Christmas break.
But now that I see yours, I want to be able to do this too.

I hadn't realised. I have just followed you back. Thaank you 😊

Thank you :-) Practice makes progress. I started reading Beginners: The Joy and Transformative Power of Lifelong Learning a while back. He talks about the importance of being a beginner. In the book, he chooses 5 things to learn (chess, singing, surfing, drawing, and juggling). It inspired me to try out a different medium (watercolours). I only used them for the first time this year. The good thing with sketching is you don't need loads of time, and like reading, you can do it anywhere. Not that i'm going anywhere right now. I say go for it Peggy!
