Really cute.
Say, did you join ravelry?

@Esther I've seen the site,

@Esther I've seen the site, dunno why I didn't join ! I should join .. appears that I did join in some time ago! but I can't remember that I did .. Kinda weird LOL :P"
I saw someone with your GR username but i was not sure. if that's you, you did join in in 2012. :)

@Susan B One good thing about wearable thing is that you can always save it for the next baby. Thanks for the advice though, I'll start working on a whole baby set.

So so sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your crochet =]

LOL, Susan! I don't know how many sweaters and things I started knitting that were too small by the time I got done with them. I will not tell you how many patterns and yarn I bought for projects for my granddaughters that I never got around to making either. I have at least three sweaters in an old trunk that only lack sewing together (My granddaughters are 24 and 23 now).
Maybe you should start on a size 2 or 3 and then they might fit by the time you are done, or you can save them for when they grow into them. I always loved making "little people" things. I still like looking at the patterns but the last couple of things I tried to make for my grandson (now 6) never worked out. I swear there was an error in the pattern of a sweaters - a crocheted pull over hoodie, and another little cardigan. I tried three or four times and they never came out right. The way the hoodie was made and attached either was 10 times too big, or the neck opening was two small. The cardigan pieces never fit together when I tried to sew them up, no matter how many times I tried to re-do them. It was the first time I ever threw something in the trash, I was so frustrated.

Try adding and decreasing stitches .. Always worked with me ..

Isn't it weird? It is one of the reasons I would rather do socks and hats, and afgans - almost no sewing up. I modify most patterns to allow for knitting sleeves in the round and do the front and sides in the round, if possible. That said - there is always something that comes up and I never finish. I am always looking for my needles and they are always stuck in something half done. What I really hate is sewing all of the ends in, especially when there are a lot of color changes. I think I got it from my mother. She was always modifying patterns. I do not ever remember her finishing anything she made for herself. A couple of years ago, I made about 15 scarves and gave them all away. I bought the yarn from a small shop that was going out of business and I loved the feel of the yarn so much! I made a pair of boot socks for an elderly friend of mine out of an alpaca and wool blend that was felted after they were knit. It cost me a fortune but it was worth it. She loved them. I knitted a small rug for a doll house out of a beautiful piece of white angora on size 1 needles once, just for an excuse to buy the tiny skein of yarn. There used to be a wonderful yarn shop in Portland that I used to go to. I was crushed when it went out of business, but I sure saved a lot of money not buying yarn. There have been small shops come and go in the area where I live, but most do not seem to stay in business long.

The scarf colours are very pretty, it doesn't do much justice on the photo. But is is lovely, I brought the yarn for the scarf especially as the colour changes on each row =]

Beautiful!

I also recovered a stool/workbox and designed a whole load of stuff for future work. *feels mildly productive at last*

Everyone's projects are wonderful. Quite a creative bunch here.
I've been knitting a lot and have completed a beautiful shawl with some lace-work that can be worn 5 different ways with buttons attached (which I still have to do). I plan on wearing it as a long-sleeve shrug. And I finished knitting a 2nd one for my sister-in-law! I've got more projects in the wing, like knitted cats, scarf for my sister, etc.

"
I did 2 of these last year as well. One for me and my mom wanted one. it is dangerously similar. She loves it.
(Let's see if this image link from ravelry works...)

I completed another unicorn yesterday for my bf's niece and she loved it. She did a great impression of Agnes from Despicable Me. I changed the colour as requested and enlarged it by using 2 pieces of yarn instead of 1. I included a comparison photo of the original unicorn to show you the difference.

Now I'm just waiting for my grey yarn to arive so I can begin the elephant.

I should make such stuffed animal for decorating the book shelf

Added. I love your peeka boo cowl.
You animals are lovely.

You animals are lovely."
Thank you. Ooh you made the broomstick lace infinity scarf too =D It is so beautiful =D I accepted your friend request. The Cardiff cowl I would like to make myself. And the diamond one is lovely.

Janice, I'll figure out some way to photograph the shawl so you can see the full effect and then a close-up of lace work. I still have to put the buttons on so it can be worn different ways. Same with my sister-in-law's shawl... need to buy some buttons for hers.
Now I'm knitting a cool multi-directional scarf for my sister. It's really cool!

If you're on Ravelry, the unicorn is on there. http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Sarah...
I found in through YouTube, so it is in video format. But I wrote the pattern down if it would make it easier?

Glad you got a kick out of my hubby's nearsightedness, Sarah and Janice. Tickled me!
