Character driven SF

My first novel is currently free in the Smashwords distribution chain.

I write character driven stories and this is the story of a space trader with problems. He starts out okay, as most stories do, but things rapidly go downhill to the point where he has to rely on a few friends to help him out. I put a lot of effort into winding the three main characters stories together and delving into who they are. In the process, I also explore the setting, the galaxy far in the future where traders haul their cargoes from place to place, and not all the cargoes are completely legal.
