i have a question.. 'would u still buy and seek for the 5th book of this VA series, if dmitri happens to be a strigoi and die in blood promise??'
^^ Yes I would!! Because you just never know what's gonna happen!On Richelle Meads blog live journal thing, she announced that VA will officially be 6 books, and that there is going to be a new series, books 7-12, that may or may not include some VA characters, but will be a new story for someone else. But VA is Rose's story and ends with book 6. Yay for more books!

so the answer is yes then??? anyway, mine is yes as well.. for me the most improtant thing to be a good book is not merely because of the characters, but mainly because of the ability of the author to make an interesting story more interesting.. the ideas, the writing, plots and all... and richelle mead meets the criteria... thats why i love vampire academy series... it gets more interesting book after book... chapter after chapter..

You knew that the Strigoi attack was coming, but then the twist with Dimitri in Shadow Kiss was totally unexpected.Plus, I figured (or was seriously hoping *lol*) that Rose & Dimitri would get together, but I figured it wouldn't happen until closer to the end of the series, and then Mead surprised me again in Shadow Kiss.
She's a great writer! I wish her books were getting more attention than they are. It kind of irks me that fluff like Twilight is as popular as it is, when books like VA should be more recognized. Know what I mean?
ik exactly what u mean! theres so many girls (and i guess guys too...) that r single-mindedly obsessed w/ twilight. VA is so much better. theres so much more to the characters and the plot and...just everything
