Wilhelmina Jenkins | 2049 comments Tayari Jones' blog mentioned a very interesting website today. Called Voices from the Gaps, this site is a wealth of information about women writers and artists of color. Founded by the American Studies Department and English Department at the University of Minnesota, this site has biographies, critiques, interviews - very solid information. Although it is not as updated or as complete as I had hoped, they are in the process of reorganizing the site, and it is well worth a look as it is. The site is:

Rona Fernandez (ronagirl9) | 104 comments Thanks for posting this Wilhelmina! This is great--seems like it would be a great resource for teachers. I will recommend it to all my educator friends who are always asking me to recommend writers of color to them!
