LAST THURSDAY I MET GAYLE FORMAN, JOHN FLANNAGAN, MORRIS GLEITZMAN (AGAIN), KEITH GRAY, FIONA WOOD AND ALSO HEARD FROM LIBBA BRAY & REINA TALGIMA. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! ALSO, THE AUTHORS I MET I GOT PICTURES WITH AS WELL AS 2 BOOKS EACH FROM THE 1ST THREE!!!!!!!!! *fan girl scream* I still can't believe it!!!!!!!!


*btw, it was for the 2013 Reading Matters conference Student Day at the State Library, Melbourne in Australia

I met Robert E Gross yesterday, award winning author of
"Memoir & Misadventures of a Mad Inventor" and introduced me to myself. I also, congratulated him on his 2nd place win on the Rebecca Reads 2013 literary contest.

This one author came to our school, I sadly cannot remember his name, but he said he wrote the book "A Nest for Celeste". It seemed like a kids book, and he acted like he'd had five cups of coffee, but his drawings are AMAZING. So, don't judge an AUTHOR by his cover. :P
