I recently took a mini term foreign language class and received a final grade of 89.5%. I emailed my professor asking her to curve/round up my grade to a 90%. However my bff is saying that I shouldn't have asked because I might have overstepped my boundaries as a student. Now I'm kind of worried that I did the wrong thing. Did I?

I don't think that is overstepping your boundaries, as long as you went about it in a respectful way. It really never hurts to ask, I know some teachers who have and some who do not.

Don't think I was disrespectful but like you said, many professors wouldn't round up. Hopefully she isn't one of them. *fingers crossed*
