American Idol Pool *spoilers* *update about pool in OP*
I'm sure Adam will go through. I think Holli's girl has got it made. I hope either Kris Allen or Megan Corkrey go through or all my picks will be finished (and I will have to go back to rooting for Danny!)
The three I loved were my girl, Megan Corkrey, and Adam. I really enjoyed the three of them!!

I would love to see some of your sketches Meg! Do you have any posted online anywhere? What do you like to draw? THat is a skill I always wish I had. My mom was a very good water color artist- I got music skill, but alas, no artistic ability!
My favorite medium is pen and ink and charcoal. I don't get to sketch much because my life is hectic and I am not as disciplined as I should be. I will try to figure out a way to display it, or if someone is skilled at this let me know,

Meg if you take a photo of your work and save it to a place like photobucket you can then retrieve it here and post in one of your posts. It would be so great to see some of your work. (make sure you downsize the image when you save it so it is not huge but in one of my groups a gal posted a pic that was about 5x6" or so. I was so surprised you could do that on here.
Ok, I will look into how to do that. I am not sure how it would work in a photograph, but I am sure willing to try.

It is so cool that we are all still in the running. And out of the 12 people in our first draft, 10 contestants made it to the top thirteen. The Chicks sure can pick 'em!

You do Ruth. Jorge Nunez is in the top 13 and I think he became a fan favorite after his emotional performance in the 2nd round.

Good show last night. I don't like the new rule about the judges saving people. I think the right two people went home. Jasmine is good but still young and needs to work some more. Jorge is good also, but not quite the next American Idol...perhaps the the next Puerto Rican Idol, who knows.?
Somebody explain this new rule thing - huh? I haven't seen last nite's yet.I wish they would have had that last year, if they did my man Michael Johns would BE the reigning Idol right now! I loved him.

And Seacrest is an idiot. He mentioned Chris Daughtry as possibly being one that would have been saved. The thing is Daughtry was the FOURTH to go. He was in the top 5 so it wouldn't have worked on him. Seacrest is a tool.
LOL, "Seacrest is a tool"....you crack me up Tera. Some of the things he says are so dumb. But as far as the Daughtry comment, he's not the only dumb one there, because someone knew he was going to mention him because they had a picture of Daughtry qued up and ready. Guess the production staff doesn't know their stuff...
Ok, so I'm confused with the judge saving thingie. Does each contestant have 1 save allowed, and once they are saved one week if they are at the bottom next week they have to go OR is it 1 total from the judges for all 11 remaining contestants? For example if they had used to it save Jasmine last night, that was it, the save is gone now and no one else can have it? I agree Seacrest is a tool. Also, I just don't get Kanye West. I really don't. When I first saw him perform a few years ago I thought he was doign a spoof of rappers. His lyrics and his songs are retarded. Most of the time he doesn't even have the most verbage in his songs, he has other people come out and sing or rap more than him. Although last nights performance it was just him, but what was with the guys and their helmets? Also, did you notice that in the first phrases of his song/rap all words rhymed with 'So' (or something like that), then it went to something else. It was like a kid trying to write a poem. Terrible. Sorry to any Kanye fans, I just don't get him and don't get all the excitement over him at all.

I DVR the results show, so I fast-fowarded Kanye and nearly everything except the actual results. It's a great time saver!
I am so with you on that one Marsha. The results show is largely junk historically speaking. Get to the bottom line. The hokey songs they do as a group are gag me YUK.

I have to admit, I am enjoying the cheesy group numbers, just because I look forward to seeing how they handle my man Scott. He must be terribly uncomfortable moving around that stage, but he's a trooper! It must be quite a challenge for the choreographer.

I noticed that they try to keep him in a central spot while the others move around him, but when he does move the Idol near him helps him out a bit. I think they have done a great job of it so far.
I thought that was great of Scott to be willing to do that. Must have been scary!I was annoyed at Randy when he said Scott's "performance" left something to be desired last week. I mean - the guy is playing the piano and he's blind - what are you expecting?
I thought Anoop did a really good job, but I really loved what Adam did. I felt like I was at a concert. It could be a hit record. Johnny Cash doing Nine Inch Nails. Megan doesn't do it for me. I really am not into her huge tatoos either. I like Michael but the song selection was not a good one for him,
Loved Matt and Kris last night, I think Anoop did really good too, they would be my top 3 from last night.I hated Adam's performance, I really like Adam, I think he is an amazing singer,however, I think if he keeps up stuff like this the people will grow tired of his antics, so he should be careful. I would have liked to hear him sing the Cash song as is, what on earth was he thinking?!?!?!?
I do not care much for Scott, I don't think he vocals are that great, I do think he should stay with the piano though because he does better with it. I didn't much care for Lil or Michael last night at all. Lil should have sang some Leann Rimes, as she has a lot of jazzy, blues songs that I think would have been better. I'm hoping to see Matt stick around for another week, I think he is doing great.
I love love love Adam!! didn't he look like a young Kirt Russell? Elvis? That song was hot and I think it could be on the air now. I think Lil, Micheal and Scott are in the bottom.
I hate to say but I think my Danny is sort of losing his differentness. Megan I still love but I don't think the public is getting her sound really. She needs to understand her voice and she doesn't herself.
I think the end with Paula and Simon was the rudest thing I have ever seen him do. Why did he have to magic marker on her face?? That is just stupid and demeaning!

Thank you! They clearly have massive things for each other. Sometimes it's amusing.Woah that guy Adam (i think - the one who looked like Elvis last night) was incredible last night. I've never really liked him (sounds too girly) but last night he was tremendous.
But the first guy - the one that sang Let's Get it On was way hot last night. And he's not even good looking! But he was last night....woah! Hot performance.
I liked Kris Allen the best and then Kai for the guys. I was totally bummed that Matt G stunk so bad because I really liked him. I think Adam Lambert looks like he swallowed a Jonas Brother. I think two guys will go through and only one girl again.
I think Adam will go through, I hope Kris makes it through and any of the girls could go through they all stunk on an equal level imo.
