This one took me a month and a day to complete. But soooo worth it!

I realised that I forgot to add a few books into that list (but Im too lazy to add em in now!)
so I think Im more at 53 instead of 50, but whatever.
51/54.The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break - Sherrill

Mike, funny you should ask. I was just perusing my old reviews and AtPH and Despair were two that I had just peeked at.
AtPH is by far the best of the trilogy. CotP is the worst. I say this lightly, since all three books are well worth reading. But when compared to one another... well... The first far surpasses the rest.
As for Despair... I adore Nabokov. But this book was a bit slow for my taste. If you check out my review on it, I recommend readers of this novel to check out Jose Saramago's "The Double". It is a better-written book on a similar topic....

Haha.. Stegner killed me. Angle of Repose was ghastly for me. THough I do have one of his others in my to be read pile (way way at the bottom)....
12.The Man in High Castle - Dick
13.Death by Zamboni - Katzman
14.The Diaries of Adam and Eve - Twain

How was Eating Animals? I'm really interested in that I have really likes his novels.

11.The Secret History - Tartt"
Many times I wanted to start reading The secret history but the back cover already gives me such a creepy feeling!
Paul, Eating Animals was heart breaking at times. I thought it would affect my eating habits, and it did, but not for very long.. unfortunately. I live in a house of meat eaters.
Jeane, you MUST READ IT. It is not creepy at all. I promise!
