true crime-i read a book in the 1980's or 1990's.2 boys who were around their early teens raped 2 young girls(early teens?).the girls were taking a shortcut thru woods.one girl they killed and the other they left thinking theyd killed her(either by stabbing,beating,suffocation or all three).the girl who lived was walking around bloody/naked n she was found-she helped sketch artist.for some reason i think the dead girl was under something like a mattress.one boy was thin/tall n one was dark haired n shorter.for some reason i THINK this mightve happened in the 1960's or 1970's(???)
