10:21am - laying in bed, trying to relax so I'm well enough to go back into work tomorrow as I've been off for a week with the stomach flu. About to start a re-read of 11/22/63
7:52 AM laying on the couch before I get ready for work. Hopefully it won’t be another 10 hour shift
10:20 PM EST. Been real busy lately. Working a lot. Just now I finished reading
. Now I'm reading
and
. Very good books! This weekend a friend of mine that I went to school with is coming to visit and we are going to the Met to see the Michelangelo exhibit. Should be fun, I need to get out for a change. LOL.

7:56 PM, Have some sad news, my Girlfriend and I have broken up. I'll mention that it was my decision. I won't get into the details, I'll just say she was very needy and too much into drama, I thought she was the right one but I was wrong. But I'm getting better each day, and on a good note I'm getting more hours at my new job and recently got a raise, and I really love working there. Have a good night everyone.
Corey- sorry to hear that! It’s hard to go through a breakup no matter your age! At least you have an outlet with a job you like!!! Best of luck!!’ If ya need anything, I’m here!
It is 11.55 and I just discovered this group. Corey, I wish you the best of luck too.I'm at work but decided to have an early lunch. It is very quiet here today.

Thank you Jannelie
6:45AM Getting ready to head to work, but I did finish a book last night, The Girl Before. I really enjoyed it! Now gonna re-read Illuminae so I can continue with the series.
Susan I always have a great time when we meet up. I for sure got some great books at the UBS. Thanks again for an awesome time!

It is 15.21 and I'm in a large and very cold meeting room. In about half an hour an important meeting starts; almost everybody is here, preparing for the meeting. Loud conversations, keybords clacking... I have finised my preparations and wanted to do something to take off my mind for a while. So I'm reading reviews. Just read a review of 4 lines that qualified for some as a 'great review'. Makes me think...

Starting the new week off with many projects. Today my first project is getting the ole chompers cleaned. 😝 Not a fun project but a healthy life choice. Reading The Winter Sea. So far it’s pretty good. Hope everyone has a wonderful week with some excellent reading added in!👍🏻👍🏻
8:16PM Having a relaxing night with a cup of coffee and hopefully finishing my current book so I can move on to Gemina, book 2 in the Illuminae files series. It is a great YA Science fiction. Love it
4:29 PM Pretty much sitting here at my desk nearly falling asleep! LOL Counting down the days that my sis and family will be here. Only 4 days to go!
6:09 PM, hey everyone, haven't commented for awhile. Just got back from work about an hour ago, and I recently got a raise. Still loving my job, hope you're all enjoying your Summer and reading some good books!
Hi Corey, glad you love you still love your job. Summer has been great, but we are coming into a whole week of above 100 degree weather. Argh.
10.10 am GMT. I'm at work but needed a short break from working on something not so interesting ;-).
✨Susan✨ wrote: "Hi Corey, glad you love you still love your job. Summer has been great, but we are coming into a whole week of above 100 degree weather. Argh."Ugh, I feel your pain, the past couple weeks it has been unbearable up here. But we got some rain yesterday, and it kind of cooled things off, probably won't last long though, HAHA!
Andrea wrote: "2:45 PM...Just taking a quick break from reading
by Karin Slaughter. It is a pretty dark thriller."She is one of my favorite authors. I think her stand alones are really good but love her Series the most.
Janie wrote: "I enjoyed Pretty girls too, but I agree with Susan, her series are amazing!"I have read the first one in the Will Trent series but I haven't continued. I don't know why because I really liked Triptych. I think I might read her Grant County series first. What are your thoughts? The Grant County first or Will Trent?
I think the Grant County Series first because some of the characters show up in the Will Trent series and it would be good to know their backstory. What do you think Janie?
