What time is it and what are you doing?

Thank you for your kind words, Janie. As always.
Today was a very productive day, I got a lot of work done. There was an extremely minor family crisis early tonight. But it's all water under the bridge now.
I watched the latest episode of the third season of Better Call Saul tonight and it was awesome! This season is the best yet. It's great for us die-hard Breaking Bad fans to have cause we miss that show so much.

Rum & Coke

9:14AM Got home about 45 min ago and now trying to recuperate! I need a better co worker, someone who will do their share. Is that really too much to ask?

Janie,I so hope you got the message I was sending you on Facebook. Please say you got it... There's no time like the present.

Sorry to hear about your work troubles, Janie. Don't know what it is you do, but when ever you get down about something like that, you should go watch Office Space. I love that movie, it is hilarious. LOL
6:51AM Had a rough night, could not sleep, got up watched some You Tube and then went back to bed at 1:30 finally fell asleep about 1:45, then woke up at 6:00. So I will have next to know energy today LOL
Susan the last message I got from you was in April, or are you talking about posting to my wall?

Yes on Facebook. You got it because you replied. Take care hope you have a better day today.

Thanks, Susan.
Like Janie said, " I need a better co worker, someone who will do their share." .... I ask this all the time.
I just need folks to "Adult" for the full 8 hours... I mean, really???

Today was an alright day I suppose. Got some work done, did some stuff around the house and ran around getting ready for mother's day. Yesterday, however is a different story.
Sometimes I feel weird about venting on here to strangers, but you guys are pretty cool. Yesterday I was actually having a good day, till at night I got into an argument with my sister and she said and did some stuff that really got under my fucking skin. I am so sick of my sister acting like she is all high and mighty judging everyone all the time, and acting like her shit comes out gold plated. She is mean and treats people like shit, not all the time, but a lot of the time and does it to everyone. She is the only one in my family that can get away with behavior like that and I don't get it nor do I like it. She is a total self-righteous fucking bitch, and I am sick of it.
6:40AM I got to read some last night, and you know that makes me happy. Got up at 5:45 this morning just so I could get a few things done before work. So right now I am enjoying some coffee. Amy and Aeverie are coming to see me on my break today. YAY!
Dan, sometimes it is better to confide in people you don't know very well. They have a less biased opinion. Sometimes you just have to let your family know when you are unhappy. I have a sister like that as well. She is pretty judgmental, even when she says she does not judge people.

2:25 AM EST. Up late again, LOL. I just read something interesting online about the hereditary mutation of the CRY1 gene, and that it can make certain people proned to be somewhat nocturnal. I would share that with my sister if I wasn't so mad at her right now. I Had a good mother's day celebration today at my uncle's house in Pennsylvania even though my grandmother is sick. She got an iPhone as a gift today though.
Janie, thank you for your kind words. That is an interesting point you made about confiding in strangers, I like that. You, I kind of feel like I know since I've been an active member of a couple of your groups on GR for the past four years now. Yeah, I don't think my sister thinks she is that way either. I mean isn't that the way people work though?? In real life, villains don't think they are villains (definitely not comparing my sister to a villain...LOL).
I've got a busy week ahead of me. Hope I get everything done I need to get done.
I just bought this book

And I am insanely happy that NBC decided not to cancel Timeless, and that it will be back for a second season!!!

o_O
8:53PM Yay I am off tomorrow (fingers crossed) Hub says he is not letting me answer my phone if work calls. MUHAHAHA,,,,not gonna try to read tonight because it will put me to sleep and I want to be awake for Kay tonight once she gets home. She has been missing that. Going to breakfast in the morning, that will be some good time together, then going to sit around and do nothing but read. YAY! GO ME!
Dan I agree, I don't compare my sis to a villain, but she needs to stop being mother hen now, we are all adults now.
Alondra I would love a drink with you! Be there soon haha!

Just watched tonight's episode of Better Call Saul. Damn, that show is getting really good! It's almost as good as Breaking Bad. And I'm still filled with glee that they renewed Timeless.

Going to get some reading in now.

I was all energetic and productive today, from the time I got up at 7AM up to through late afternoon. That is until around 5PM, when I started to feel lethargic and drained. Last year I had anemia, and had to go for iron treatments. I hope I'm not getting that again.
I'm going to eat, watch this episode, then get some reading in.

Getting to bed late tonight because I had a great time talking to one of my mentors and best friends on the West coast. She just so happens to be 83 years old, still awesome, and still kicks butt.... She makes me feel old at my young age. Shame on me...
A note to us young folks who think we are old...
9:05AM Not working till 11:30 today, so I thought I would check in with y'all. Been trying to finish up HP and the Goblet of Fire. It is really good, I just want to get it finished already. I hate this no time for reading crap. but at the same time, I am thankful for the job since we needed the extra money coming in.
Susan when you talk about a lady who is 83 and still kicking butt, it makes me feel like an ass thinking I am so old. Thanks for the reality check! LOL
Dan hope you get to feeling better. I hate feeling yucky!

@Janie; the drinks were yummy!! :D
6:51AM Working at 8:30 this morning but supposed to have both Saturday and Sunday off. I guess we will see what happens. I got Sat off and requested Sunday. Keeping fingers crossed.
Alondra, I hope you drank one for me!

Yes!! I love seeing that brown box on my doorstep; full of books. :)

LOL...I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. Might tweak it some more early tomorrow. I can't wait to give it to him.
For Father's day I'm going to make him a card with one of the other puppets, "Walter".
I know it's late here but I'm gonna get at least a little bit of reading in before bed. LOL...Janie, I like that song.

So funny Dan, that guy is so funny. We always say, "I Keel you", around here. Walter is also hysterical. Very Artistic.
Getting my Dads Father's Day and Birthday gift ordered early this year so I am not scrambling and having to pay extra delivery charges. It's nice the two dates are close together. He's 86 this year. Miss him but have our visit all arranged for August. All of my kids and their significant others will be able to go with us this year. First time in 6 years we all be there at the same time. Two thumbs up.
9:38PM Had a nice relaxing day today. Hub and I made home made noodles for soup. It was very good. Amy visited for awhile so now I shall read some more.
That is great new Susan, glad y'all get to be together! It is always so much nice when everyone can be there. I know I love it.

6:49AM Yep it is work today, but got up early to get through email and online practices. LOL Have grocery shopping to do after I get off of work. Oh Joy! Everyone have a great day!

I have been in a review slump. I have 10 or so books out there to review and at this time am going to try to do one a day, but the further I get behind the less I want to do them. Argh....
7:30AM Gonna be a busy day, but yesterday I did manage to get the grocery shopping done. YAY! Shelby is back with us today. We love having her.
LOL Susan, stop putting them off, get er done would ya? LOL

8:46AM I plan on enjoying this day off! I have ran myself ragged at work for the last 3 days. One girl decided not to show up and another one decided to put in a 2 weeks notice. WHAT?! Oh well such is life!
9:58AM Enjoying some coffee before work at 11:30. Have to close the deli tonight. Can't complain because I did have a good weekend. Was off at 3 on Saturday and then had yesterday off. Amy and Cort treated us to a cook out which was super nice. I am blessed!
HAHA Susan I already tried that with Kay. She wants to stay where she is right now, but you are right we need people in the deli pretty badly. I will seriously be surprised if the gal that put the 2 weeks in even comes to work to finish it out.

Yea Dan, our pets are family and it is so difficult when we see them suffer, yet we want them around forever. It is these decisions that kill us the most. Sorry you are having to deal with this right now.
Susan please feel free to read IT without me. I have next to no time to read as it is, and a book that size will now take me a whole month to get through. Enjoy it!
