7:29AM Well I did not make it with getting the book finished, but I will today. YAY! I am enjoying it, just wish I liked Lucas better!
Done with Rules of Prey. I am going to like this series. He's no Will Trent, but he never committed himself to anybody. If that's what the gals wanted they should have made it clear, it's not like they were unaware of his reputation. I really dislike Jennifer.
Susan I disliked all of them really LOL including Lucas, not just because he is a player but also because he is borderline bad cop and he is so dishonest. This just bothers me. LOL The story itself I like a lot, it is really well written, and will continue the story. I am hoping that Lucas will become more likeable for me.
5:10 P.M. Listening to some sports and doing a bit of reading. The time is almost here....so excited!! :D
5:24PM had dinner was watching a bit of football, started a new book, The Scorpio Races, but not really wanting to read just now.
7:49PM Played a little bit of Call of Duty, now I'm gonna go to bed and read for a bit, with my kitty sleeping next to me.
Janie wrote: "Susan I disliked all of them really LOL including Lucas, not just because he is a player but also because he is borderline bad cop and he is so dishonest. This just bothers me. LOL The story itself..."Me too Janie, I'm sure he evolves. I will continue also.
I think Mary was giving us a little tip that he does. Keeping fingers crossed, but I am feeling like he will never be a Will Trent.
9:48AM Just finished breakfast now I am gonna read for a bit I think. Amy is coming over today and she is bringing Mist, yay! I miss him and he can play with Nash for a bit.

10.18AM I was hoping to finish my book yesterday but I got distracted with gardening etc and before I knew it, it was time for bed. Oh well, at least the garden is looking a little prettier! I'm working today then off to my brother's house for dinner tonight but hopefully I can squeeze in some Angelfall because I'm loving it and I really want to know what is going to happen next!! I'm so glad you got me onto this one Alondra and even more so after hearing how much you loved it Janie!

It sure is Shell.
Janie wrote: "5:24PM had dinner was watching a bit of football, started a new book, The Scorpio Races, but not really wanting to read just now."I have this book Janie, but I haven't got around to reading it yet. I'll be looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
9:31PM Have not read a lot today but want to read a bit more before bed. Current book is not really wowing me all that much but I have not hit pg. 50 yet so we will see.
So far it just kinda ok Shell, we will see I guess.

8:03AM Doing laundry gonna read some more of my current book hoping it will pick up. We will see where it does, but if it does not pick up then I will not hesitate to DNF.
7:09 A.M. Listening to some music. Just found out that two of my favorite musicians have passed away. Scott Weiland died last year and David Bowie passed away today:(
Holly wrote: "11:03 A.M. Feeling a bit anxious and can't believe that David Bowie passed away.."I can't believe it either, very sad.
12:57PM Hubster made me lunch today and now I will read some more and hopefully get through this book.
That is pretty sad about David Bowie. I had to look it up and make sure it was not another hoax. That seems to happen so much these days. I agree Susan David Bowie was still young at 69. He will be missed.

9.51 AM Trying to get myself motivated at work today but I'm dragging my feet a bit. I woke up feeling all tired and worn out and I would have been quite happy to just curl up and finish Angelfall rather than go to work! I'm catching up with a friend tonight after work so Angelfall might have to wait until tomorrow night :(I'd heard so many good things about The Scorpio Races Janie, I hope it picks up soon. I must say that I start to lose hope when I hit the 50 page mark and I'm still not feeling it :/
Hope you're feeling okay Holly, anxiety is a big fat pain in the butt. Thankfully, I find that reading helps me a lot when anxiety is giving me grief xox
6:46 p.m. Enjoying another day off from work. I think I need to put in at least 1 Friday or Monday each month. Vacation time helps me catch up on reading, sleep and gardening. Yep, sounds like a plan.*plots next day off*
11:03PM About to head to bed. Had a skype call with my niece which was nice. We haven't done that in awhile.
Shell it has not picked up really at all. Doing this for a buddy read and they are not really getting it either.

Yep, sounds like a pl..."I don't know about time off each year. Now that our folks are getting olderrrr we try to save/see them more... but even now, hubby forfeited 8 days and rolled 7. I think you have the right idea!
10.51AM I'm sleeeeepy! I got home from my friends place at 9.30PM last night and made the mistake of picking up Angelfall... which of course I couldn't put down again until I finished it... at 12.30AM! It was totally worth it ;) I have a quiet night planned tonight after work so I think I'll lay outside in my hammock and start Interview with the Vampire. Sounds like heaven - I can't wait!

Good on you for posting that Alondra. My friend lost her partner to suicide last week, it was so very sad. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your former co-worker - it is just so tragic. Thanks, guys. It was more of a shock, and then after thinking about it, we knew she was having issues; but never, ever thought she would take her own life.
very sad for her family.
Such a terribly heart wrenching event. I sure hope her family is getting grief counseling or some form of help.

7:50AM Just wrapping up some online things and then gonna read this boring book again Career of Evil, I had so much hope for this one but ACK. And I can't make myself DNF it, but I don't know why LOL I guess cause I like Robin and Strike. Rowling should stick to YA I think.
8:55 AM Just sitting here trying to decide which book to read next. I have so many choices I just cant choose. LOL. Also, I just heard that actor Alan Rickman died. This is so sad. He was an incredible actor. RIP Professor Snape.
That's a shame. He was a good actor. I'm Trying to get motivated, it's hard because I woke up with a headache. Argh.
7:49AM Having my coffee and about to pick up The Woods by Harlan Coben for a buddy. Looking forward to this one!
My oldest daughter, Amy, is having a real hard time with the death of Alan Rickman. She is a huge Potter Head. I think she has read the series 7 times and watched the movies a million. She really enjoyed his character. RIP Alan Rickman.
