5:07PM Been reading today, I will be watching the game here in a bit, but in the mean time I will keep reading.

Corey, keeping y'all in my thoughts and Prayers. I know it has to be really rough on you right now. (((hugs)))

Corey | 1411 comments 5:52PM Since my Mom and I are going through a tough time and since she has to plan for my Grandmother's funeral, we decided to open up our Christmas presents tonight, because things are pretty crazy right now and we weren't sure when we'd have time to open presents, so we decided to do it tonight. I keep telling myself that Christmas isn't about the presents, it's about family and the birth of Christ.

7:59PM The house is super quiet right now. Everyone in school and at work. So it is a great time to get some videos recorded. Got my shopping finished last night. Good grief it has been non stop going this month. Always so busy but I do love this time of year.

Corey | 1411 comments 3:50PM Today's a pretty mellow day for us, my Grandmother passed away late last night, my Mom went up to the Hospital to say goodbye to her, which I know was hard for her. We're going to miss her very much but I also need to look at the brighter side, she's in a happier place now and she's not suffering anymore, I know she thought the world of me and now I know that she's watching over my Mom and I.

7:57PM Just did a work out and now I am going to start another book, I think. I might play some online games first. I don't know. Or perhaps I should wrap some gifts. I will get it figured out.

9:02PM went to dinner this evening. I have a sick grandbaby though. He is on the mend I think. He is feeling somewhat better now. Better to be sick now than on Christmas Day. I am gonna chill with some coffee and a good book. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 345 comments Almost 3 p.m just got back from going to Goodwill and spending the gift money my brother gave me. Got a bunch of books, but I gotta still bring em in and clean em up and shelve em here on GR.
Then I went to WalMart and got a couple of things, and now I'm back home. I'm making me some nachos for dinner later, but I'm feeling hungry for them right now! Lol. They're gonna be good.
Kiddo's over at my dad and step-mom's house for awhile, they're making cookies and stuff for Christmas, so he's having fun and I've got the day to myself. Got the cleaning done last night, so I can just relax and read :D

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 345 comments 12:30 a.m playing a Walking Dead game on my PS3 and just about having a heart attack! I cleared this hallway of walkers, made sure all the doors were shut, turned around to grab something, turn back around and ack! Walker in my face trying to eat me. I gasped so loud I scared the dog, he slunk off to the other room. Everyone's sleeping... maybe I shouldn't be playing this when it's dark and I'm pretty much alone... lol. Anyway, had to take a break until my heart quit pounding so hard, it's making me jumpy.

9:38AM Enjoying some coffee this morning before I tackle the closet in the Library. I decided to not take decorations back out to the shed. Stuff is getting ruined out there. So making room for everything in the closet. Randy started it for me yesterday while I took down the tree and such. After that I will read and try to finish Legend today.

We watched the second movie in the Percey Jackson series "Sea of Monters" yesterday and it's a good one too. Closet cleaning....bleck. Taking all Xmas down throughout the week. Tree next weekend. Good luck and Don't get lost in your closet. Hehe.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 345 comments 6:40 p.m, I'm on a rampage! A hardback book I ordered from Amazon, used, not new, but was listed as being in Very Good condition with little to no wear finally showed up today. Sure, it's in good condition I suppose... except for the fact that it has no jacket!!!!! Ugh! I was so mad I wanted to just throw the thing in the trash. Not really, I'd never do that to a book, but I wanted to throw something! A hardback with no jacket is useless to me, and I do not want it. I wouldn't pay a quarter for a naked hardback at Goodwill, I certainly am not going to pay $7 for one. I think the seller should've noted that there was no jacket, because without the jacket, to me, the thing is not in Very Good condition. So, I put in a return request, gotta wait and see if the seller accepts my reasons for wanting to return it. Hopefully they do, and then I'll order me a copy with a jacket.
But anyway, on a more cheerful note, I'm about to go have me a Red Bull :p

10:36PM Just watched the Maze Runner and loved it. It makes me wanna pick up the book much faster now. LOL It was great and I can only imagine how much more thorough and descriptive the book is. I did kind of hate the end because it pissed me off. LOL

Kit I would be livid. I agree, the seller definitely needed to state that there was no dust jacket. I would tell him if he wants a decent rating that he needs to allow you to return the book. That is just wrong of him, and even then he does not deserve a decent rating just for being negligent in a proper description of the product.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 345 comments 2 pm hanging out over at step-dad's doing laundry and stuff, helping out while grandma's in the hospital. Kiddo's watching toons and I'm using the wifi while waiting for the washer to stop. Shoulda brought a book, but I've been unable to decide what to read next. Still gotta hash out a review for Revival too.
The book seller messaged me back wanting a picture of the 'damage' and a description of my problem. I'm like... didn't you read the original message I sent with the return request? Geez. Guess if they don't let me return it I'll just PBSwap it. Either way I'm gonna get me a good copy, lol.
