Hey y'all! I love how American I feel when I say that hehehe! I've really missed you guys. Sorry I've been pretty much MIA this year. Started a new job recently and it's very busy so not a lot of time for reading etc :/ I don't know how I'll go with the other threads, but I'm going to try and keep up with this one because I've missed talking to you all (y'all)but I find trying to keep up with every thread is a little draining!

Awww Corey - don't give up! I remember being devastated because the day I was old enough to get my provisional license was a Saturday and I had to wait until Monday... longest couple of days of my life!!

8:33PM Just got home from Walmart I went along with Cort and Amy. The Boys played well today and really protected Romo. Great game. Gonna read some before bed. My second review book was only 4 chapters and then a link where I can buy the book to show support, um when an Author wants you to review their book I think they should give you the whole thing. *smh* needless to say I wont be buying it.

5:36PM Just had spaghetti for dinner, will work out once Amy gets here. Got a lot accomplished today, namely got our house insurance changed! Hallelujah It is a lower premium which will make our house payment lower and back to normal!

I just posted a review Janie. I liked it, I definitely love the writing style and the way he builds mystery around the story. I just wasn't as interested in the plot in the second half when things became clear (trying to be vague). I guess I expected it to go in a different direction then it did, but I am definitely looking forward to reading more of his books!

7:22AM The kiddos, Kayla and Aeverie rode the bus this morning. Wow 80 degrees yesterday and about 40 degrees right now. YIKES! So now it is pretty quiet so I can read and get this book done. I am enjoying this one though thank goodness. My other 2 review books UGH.

My reading has been going well Shell. I have had a good year this year on reading. That always makes me happy. Have you read Mr. Mercedes yet? I have not, I have it on my kindle, but for King book I would rather have a physical copy to read.

Amanda, so glad you liked it. Did you do a review for Booktube or just Good Reads? I like everything that Coben has done. He has a good young adult series as well.

Work has consumed me lately, but I got my promotion, so I can breathe a little easier now (except at work- got more responsibility). All I want to do now is get back into reading full bore! Just finished Sophie Hannah's two books, "Little Face" and "Hurting Distance", and really enjoyed them! Have a hankering for mystery/thriller/detective series now.

5:02 p.m. At Children's Hospital with mini Me. She had an asthma episode but they aren't calling it asthma. Long story short we'll be here until tomorrow. Going to try and get into Salem's Lot. This hospital reminds me of a S. King story. I got lost a couple of times coming from the cafeteria so that was exciting. ..lol.

Hey everyone sorry I've been so quiet the past week, I've been super busy, my Mom and I have finally got my Grandmother in a Nursing Home, it took her a while to accept it but now she seems to be settling in, she still has her moments but that's to be expected. We just got her apartment cleaned out and the stuff we didn't keep we donated to Goodwill, this has also been good for Mom because she's not running back and forth, and my Grandmother's in a safe place.

I got my permit test in a couple days, hopefully for sure this time, LOL! Anyway good to be back on Goodreads, I've missed talking to everyone.

10:00AM. It's snowing!! I don't love snow, but I don't hate it as some people do. I live in Buffalo, NY- it'll snow from now until at least March-April, it is what it is. ;-) I never was one to complain about the weather because there's just nothing you can do to change it! I just hope everyone is safe when driving.

I'm almost done reading The Glass Castle- I have never read it before and I am really enjoying it. I'm listening to the audio of The Year of Fog while at work.
