9:21AM Sitting here with my oatmeal for breakfast. YUM I love hot cereal. I will finish my book today, Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Tomorrow I have a buddy read with Susan called Blue Heaven. That should be good. Looking forward to it. My reading month has been great! Not much planned for today but to sit back and relax and enjoy my book.

I'm ready Janie, it has been hard to get any reading done this last week but hope to get back on track with our buddy read. I started 3 books at night while away and can only get into one, "Left to Die" the one you suggested. Still only at the beginning. Not quite caught up on sleep.

9:53AM Just had some breakfast and enjoying the quiet. Kay is having a friend stay over this evening and we are gonna marathon the Harry Potter Movies. That will be fun, it has been a long time since I have seen them or even read them.

Susan I too an enjoying the book so far. I kind of did not like that already know who a bad guy is though. That was a little odd I thought.

10:54AM Another quiet morning here. Gonna read now and hopefully get halfway through this book. It is really good and very well written! SO it is really enjoyable.

Jen afghans are so awesome, my sister is really good at that stuff. I never learned how to do it myself. I don't have the patience that it takes to get one going and then finished as well.

1:03pm. Ugh! My 2 & 3 year old got into a fight. This is why sharing is so dangerous! Maggie has a bite mark & Brianna got pinched. Trying to get them to settle down. I read a few chapter in my book- What Alice Forgot. It's a very good book.

Darcy I have three grown girls and they still fight over things lol. But it all gets better and it's so nice to have a sister. But I 'm sure you have your hands full with 2 and 3 year olds!

Waiting for my food shopping. It's meant to be here by 3. I'm just checking GR and then heading off to read :) Hoping to finish A Feast for Crows tonight or tomorrow at the latest, I've not got too much of it left. My little boy is asleep, and I hope he is quiet when he wakes, but I doubt it. He's 2, and noisy toys are the best in his world ;) I've got a mighty headache!

And Susan, I feel you on the kids! My two year old is hitting out, or throwing toys, at the moment when he doesnt get his own way, some days are a little stressful. My 6yr old is just pushing his luck, majorly!

9:30 AM Sitting here with my coffee. I plan to read today and maybe get close to finishing this book. It has been a good read for me, I really have enjoyed it. No other plans for today we are pretty strapped this week.

Darcy I have a niece that was a horrible biter she did not care who she bit. And these were not little love bites either. She did that for a long time too it seemed. Like Susan said Mom's deserve a lot more recognition than they get, not necessarily by family but by society as a whole.

2:54 PM Went out today and bought some new music CD's, spent the afternoon with my Dad, we went out to lunch with my Grandfather, I haven't seen him for so long. Now I'm back home just relaxing.

Early mornings and me are not good friends. And its a Bank Holiday here in the UK, and of course, that means rain. Lots of rain. It's actually dark enough to need a light on, at 9am /: Especially to read, once I head off here. Having a lazy day in, with my 2 year old, watching movies :) May just have to put Frozen on in a bit :) x

7:46AM Well first day of school for Kay as a Junior and if you can believe it my grand blessing started Pre-k today! Wow where does the time go. It goes by so quickly. The house is soooo quiet this morning. Enjoying some coffee and doing my online duties, then I am gonna read, I want to finish Sharp Objects today. Have a great Monday everyone.

8:14am- today is a busy, stressful day! My sister is undergoing surgery to remove part of her breast. She has cancer. Later tonight we will be talking to the attorney that was assigned by the court regarding the custody battle over my boyfriend's kids. These kids are like my own. A very nerve racking day!

Thinking of you today Darcy. Today is mine and my kids' last day of summer vacation. Tomorrow it will be back to work for me and back to school for them :( We are going to go to Sweet Frog this afternoon for one last hurrah. This summer was probably the fastest one yet as the weather was cool most days.

8:35PM Had a rather quiet day today, I finished my book Sharp Objects and now ready to start Opal. Drained the water from the pool and cleaned it up good letting it dry out the rest of the way which won't take long.

Aeverie and Kay both had a great day at school. Aeverie really liked it a lot, that makes us very happy. We were concerned that he would be upset once Amy left the class room today, but he did great. Kay went to be very early, I think she was up too late last night.

Had my work out and my coffee. Now ready to relax the rest of the night and start my new book Opal. Reading has went well for me this month I think. I did good picking good books to read. I have 2 more on my tbr for this month, those are Opal and Through the Zombie Glass.

Darcy I am sorry you had such a hectic and stressful day. I hope you have a brighter one for tomorrow. Keeping y'all in my thoughts and prayers.

11:34 PM. Just got done watching the Emmys. Can't believe Breaking Bad reeled in all those awards. Actually...yes I can cause that is a damned good show! Was just watching "The Breaking Bad Binge" yesterday on AMC and it really is great (almost as good as The Walking Dead!).

Well, think I'll go read The Stand now. I'm goin on vacation tomorrow so if you guys don't hear from me, have a good week!

7:58AM Good Morning my GR friends! Another quiet morning here. I get to read some more. No plans for the day either, yes I live such an exciting life. I ended up picking up Opal to read but last night whilst my dear hubby was being really loud watching videos I retired to the library and picked up Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and it is really good. So now I am reading 2 books. LOL Oh well.

8:25PM Hub made breakfast for dinner we had some home made pancakes and they are so good. You cant go wrong really. LOL Did my work out per normal after having dinner and coffee and Now I am gonna read Opal. I finished Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. It was a very touching book.
