5:35 p.m. Put a new bookshelf together today, I got rid of one of my other ones because it was old and it wasn't very sturdy, but my new shelf has more room and can hold more books, which is good because I was running out of room fast.

5:39 PM. Cooking a pre birthday dinner for my youngest daughter. She wanted some Soooouul food. LOL. Fried chicken, homemade mac & cheese, candied yams, collard greens.. My southern roots on my side.. Her dad, west indian. LOL.

7:27PM Made Amy's birthday cake for tomorrow. We took her out yesterday for shopping and dinner. She waned to wait for her cake on her actual birthday which is tomorrow. I have been reading a lot today which makes me happy. This book is pretty amazing. I am loving it. Took a swim, did a work out, now I am enjoying some coffee and more reading.

11:17 PM Probably going to stay the night at the hospital. My Great Grandfather has Septic Shock it's a severe blood disease. He is doing well. I think the chances of recovery are 25-50% I hope he makes it. He fought in Vietnam.

9:25AM Happy Tuesday everyone. A very quiet morning here again. Looks like it is a great reading time. No plan for the day but to read. Enjoying my book. I do have to do a vlog today but other than that a slow day.

8:20 PM Eating at a cool restaurant. I walked in and saw someone reading Storm of Swords. He gave me a really mean scowl when he saw me looking at it. If I read the Red Wedding in a restaurant I might scowl at people too. His bookmark was about halfway through the book. ..

9:26 p.m. Just got back from dinner with the hubs; and guess what? my husband found a new used book store for me!! what a great anniversary present! woot-woot!!

...and they sell Vinyl... if you are old school, then you know how serious this store is. I haven't seen an LP in years... :D

8:52AM Wow I slept great last night so great that I woke up with a back ache from being in bed so long. LOL Just have a day planned for reading. Kay has another week of summer break then it is back to school but she is a junior this year. She will have an easy year this year.

10:20 AM First day of Cross Country went well for me. I wasn't the fastest runner but we currently working on building strength. Practice for the rest of the week will be two miles. We also have practice on Saturday. On the last part of the run a senior helped me run and told me he really sucked when je first started, but has really improved and first day is the worst.
So I am looking forward to continuing with XC and the team seems really nice and supportive:)

Yesterday went white water rafting with 16 family members in Oregon. Everybody lived, YAY! Today some of us old folk wish we didn't. Hehe. I did not know that even your earlobes can be sore. Big fun! Today just listening to the rain hit the roof and eating too much. So relaxing. Hope all are well

It's almost 2 pm here TN central time and I recently got placed in my goodreads author friend Roderick Vincent's book the Cause in the acknowledgements page with some of his other friends who got thanks which was really sweet and awesome. I can't wait to read the book soon. He sent me a PDF ARC ebook copy to read too but I'll check it out after I finish Midnight's Children and my other reads. I also wrote more of my dark fantasy horror web serial EPICQUEST for wattpad and goodreads too by finishing Chapter 2 and hope to write and get chapter 3 ready to post there on August 23rd. If anyone wants to read it, please let me know and I'll share the link with you and hope you enjoy it.

09.40am -- tired!!!!
Been up since 7 as I have my eldest son from yesterday to sunday, he's only 6 but he lives with his Dad. He woke his 2 year old brother up, and then woke me up to say his brother woke him up. Difference is, my 2 year old normally sleeps until at least 9 lol. I am in dire need of high doses of caffeine today. I will be heading off very shortly to read with my boys :)
