What time is it and what are you doing?

Has anyone felt that way after reading something? The plot was just completely outrageous. I had it figured out by page 100 but I kept reading to the foolish end at page 405. Oh well. I'm on to bigger and better things. I have 17 books at the library that my hub will pick up tomorrow. I'm in a place where I've committed to too many books in the coming weeks. But I've decided not to get stressed out and just read where my heart takes me. Right now it's pouring down rain and the wind is really blowing. It's going to be a drag today to keep the 2 doge mud-free. Happy Friday everyone!"
Terri I have done that myself many times, but it happens, maybe hoping that it will have some redeeming qualities about it. I would not think too hard on it.

12:41 p.m. and I have a doctors appointment at 2:00 p.m. Just plan on catching up on some posts before I leave. Working on cleaning the house today so I probably will get a little reading done in-between my little breaks.
Kathryn - Congrats on the new house!
Christine - Happy Birthday!

@Katy, procrastinators unite! Someday. :D

11:02 p.m. and I'm watching the U of L/ UK game, catching up on posts, and reading The Goldfinch. Plan to sit up a little while tonight because I don't have any doctors appointments tomorrow and can sleep in. Might sit up all night. Just depends how tired I get.
9:58AM So at about 5:00AM baby Delilah decided to start howling and carrying on so loudly that I heard her across the house. :::sigh::: But did my son or daughter stir? Who has rooms at that end of the house. Not a chance. So I took her from her kennel and placed her with Kay so I could try to go back to sleep, in which I would sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up. LOL I did not miss this part of a new puppy. Oh and btw, I am having book store withdrawals something fierce!

9:05AM Woke up sore this morning, lol I guess from playing basketball and then coming home and doing a work out too. That's ok though. So I need to read today. This book The Burning is just not very engaging. I will be glad when it is done. But this is a book I have to review for the Author. So hopefully I will finish it up by tomorrow. Today would be better though.

7:43 p.m. and I've been reading, catching up on posts, cleaning some, and cooking ribs in the slow cooker.
7:00PM Had a great day today especially for this beautiful weather! I got my book store fix! YAY I had not been there for about 3 weeks. So that was a treat, then we got some lunch. We stopped in at SIL house to show off new baby pup Delilah. They loved her. After that came home and then went to playground for some exercise. Now I am here and soon gonna read and enjoy my coffee!

what are you going to read?

Strongly considering doing my 30/30 challenge again this April 1. Thirty books, of at least 250 pages (most should be be 300-500 pages) in thirty days. I don't even think I made 10/10 last April, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna give it another try anyway. Maybe it'll give me the push I need to overcome this poor reading year I'm having.
9:55AM Very quiet this AM, no one here but me and the pups. Doing Laundry right now did not make coffee this AM, I have been somewhat busy. Gonna finish up the Burning today. Wanted to finish last night but time flew and I got sleepy lol.
2:02 p.m. and we have a home visit with one of the social workers for my grandson at 3:00. Finished one book last night and hope to finish a second one today. That will leave only one left to finish. I'm gonna stick with my goal of one book at a time if it kills me.

Unpacking always seems easier than packing. :)
3:53 p.m. and the social worker just left. Started cooking some spaghetti and I'm gonna read with the windows open. Fresh air always brightens my mood.

5:53 p.m. I attempted to lay down for a while just for the heck of it. Didn't work out very well for me, so I'm gonna read for a while. Kept getting interrupted.
9:33PM The house is pretty quiet this evening. I did finish The Burning this afternoon. I watched an old movie, and one of my faves, You've got Mail. Enjoyed some coffee and now I don't know what I will do. LOL

Welp my 30/30 challenge starts now I'm already behind in a way. I can't count anything I've been reading so today is going to have to be a big day. I need to finish The Forgotten because I have enough partway read novels on my shelves already--it's really good, too--as well as read another novel which I haven't even decided on yet. I got several in mind though. Wish me luck!
9:11AM Again we have a quiet morning. I do have 2 vlogs to record today but first I need to call my sister, it is her birthday today. Gonna get some coffee here in a bit Happy April everyone!

I wouldn't sweat it. I think everyone does that from time to time. A while back I read The Devil All the Time. Total junk read, but I sure read the heck out of it. Lately I've been barely reading at all. It's been a long time since I've read so little. There for a couple days I was thinking about giving up reading altogether for a while but then my favorite biblical scholar released a new book, How Jesus Became God, and I'm really enjoying it. And at the other end of the continuum I've managed to really get deep into a fantasy book I'm absolutely loving, The Warded Man. Also, I started reading a war novel, Matterhorn, that's pretty darn good.
