2:27am EST Another night with no sleep. Worrying myself into a frenzy for no real good reason (my son, my health, stuff like that). Sometimes the reality of my life just comes crashing down. It's easier to stay positive in daylight, but the night just seems to bring it all crashing down on my head. Other than that, I'm hunky dory. Hope all my friends are having a peaceful and restful night (at least those in the appropriate time zones)!

1:33 am. It's hard, no matter what we do, when we run it over in our head at night it is never going to be okay, or work out the way we would like. "Sleep on it", is a good saying if you can sleep..... #?#%?%^

BUT, , tomorrow is always a brand new day. Another new whatever.

Oh, how much fun was it getting the mud out of Charlie's fur? I thought about you this afternoon and wondered if you were done yet. :))

Susan, it's a definite chore cleaning the mud off of Charlie! I use a bucket and dunk one leg at time (meanwhile he is using all his strength to pull away)! The worst part is his belly. I just splash the water till it starts to come out clean. He also wriggles when I dry him. It's just too hard to get mad at him, though--he's simply so darn cute and lovable, and full of puppy energy (even though he's 18 months old). And when we're done, I always get some sloppy ear kisses and face slurps. I guess cleaning him is a hassle, but it's definitely worth it!

I can just picture him being a funny pup. I hope he gets treats for you doing all that work. So glad you have him. My dog is like our 70 year old daughter. She is 13 and the best heart healer ever.

Woke up from a nap not too long ago and had lunch leftovers from Macronni Grill which are actually pretty good the next surprisingly. You ever notice how some foods just taste better the next day then they did the first time you eat them. But then again that might just be me:). Not doing any homework today. I need a day to relax and recharge my batteries.

9:59pm EST. Eating some mango sorbet (yum) and listening to the wind howl. Supposed to get some heavy rain tonight and tomorrow. It was 60 degrees today--this weather is insane-- and back in the 30s tomorrow. I'm dreaming about the herb garden I want to plant this spring. (I'll be starting small.) Are you growing pumpkins again this year Janie? Kathryn, are you watching Under the Gunn on Bravo? It's a poor substitute for PR but it feeds my fix all the same. Sweet dreams to all on GR!

9:22PM Had an evening out with the family. Had to go out and get a few things for my date with Susan and Kathryn. Looking forward to that. Always so much fun. This evening I am gonna try and read some more, we will see. Having a glass of wine and chilling with my Amy this evening. Randy just went to bed. Hope everyone had a great day and a greater evening.

Kathryn I love when we can text about books. We had a good discussion today. It was quite enjoyable for me. Just wait till Saturday, that will be fun.

Terri yes I do plan on trying my hand at pumpkins again. It was quite the experience last year so I am hoping I will do better this year. I will let you know.

11:38PM Did some cleaning today! Accomplished getting my closet cleaned. It was a mess and now looks so much better. I hate when stuff accumulates so much! I did read a little bit today, just not as much as I wanted to read. So gonna read a bit more before bed.

11:55 PM. About to crack open my book. I lost the notebook I had of all of my books which I worked hours on a few weeks ago. So, I've started re-writing them down so I can get a new notebook tomorrow and put them all in it. UGH. Such a long process, but it is very helpful when I go book shopping and am at thrift stores. My allergies have really flared up, like usual when Spring is arriving. Going to go to bed and read for a while. Tomorrow I am meeting up with Janie at the bookstore and then we are going over to her house. The kitties are good, and I'm ready for some snuggle time with my Gizmo girl.

Terri, I feel the same way you do about the Under the Gunn. It does help in giving my PR fix, just enough so I'm not impatiently waiting for the new PR season. I don't like Nick, though, and am glad Isabel went home. I have always loved Mondo and Anya.

Hey, Kathryn! I agree about Nick. Wouldn't you hate to have him as a mentor? He just never shuts up! I was also glad that Isabel went home. I couldn't believe how she kept ignoring Tim when time was up. I do love love love Mondo! (Hope your allergies get better!)

1:03am EST. Sleep is elusive tonight. My pattern lately is that I can sleep every other night. At least I have my laptop, some good books, Charlie, and some mango sorbet to help me get through the night. Sweet dreams to all!

I am about to do some reading as well. I'm getting so far behind on my books. My reading is all messed up. Has been for months now. All these audiobooks have put a serious damper on my reading schedule. I generally read along with them, but they're only read at about 32 pages an hour on average(that's without any interruptions of course), and I can double or sometimes even triple that if I get in a zone. Got about a bazillion partway finished books I'd like to wrap up too. Tonight I'm hoping to finish a book King raved about, but so far I'm not nearly as impressed with it as he was. Of course, there's 200 pages to go so I'm hoping that'll change.

My sleep cycle is off too. Big time. It doesn't matter how much I sleep either. If I don't get my sleep at a specific time, it's almost like not having slept.

2:53PM I'm in the countdown. I have 6 hours and 7 min till I'm off work for two days. I'm so excited to be off of both jobs for two whole days. I need a break in the worst way.Tomorrow is my daughters Baptism and once that is over I will be able to relax. No plans at all untill Tuesday.

I have missed you all this week as I have just not felt like being social or on line much. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll pop in from time to time tonight. I can't wait to hear how Janie and Kathryn's trip to the library goes.
