Almost 530pm here, had a light dinner, black forest ham with cheddar and avocado on wheat. getting ready to walk my dogs, then will get back into my current read. Hope everyone had a marvelous day!
8:19am ET. Had a wonderfully slow day at work; figured out that men are nuts and now I am about to read...*giggles at Kathryn's "wake-up call" ... hehehhe*
Katy sorry to hear you're going through such a tough time. I hope everything goes well for you over the next few weeks. Stay strong!Kathryn, that's hilarious! My poor husband would sympathize with yours I'm sure, I'm always doing things like that to him lol!!
Jessica, isn't it crazy how certain music can arouse such emotion?! There's some music that I just cannot listen to unless I'm in a really good mood or it just makes me feel like crawling into bed and having a good cry lol!
Good luck finishing your book Janie, can't wait to read your review. I bet you're going to want to start The Twelve straight away hehehe ;)
LOL Alondra, yup men can be pretty nuts... I'm glad I found myself a chocolate coated one hehehe
910pm- so went to the eye dr today and was a bit nervous as my eyes have been bothering me and it's been difficult to read- basically the eye dr told me my eyes looked good and i'm just getting old and need those readers you get at the drug store lolkaty-good luck-sending you hugs

10:34 p.m. If I don't get some decent sleep tonight, someone might need to consider committing me to an asylum. Been hurting really bad for the last three nights. Fingers crossed tonight will be better. Think I'm gonna read for a short time.

So I think you will be better off trying to get some sleep!
9:45 PM. Sitting down to read over some stuff Mark brought home from the hospital to prepare me for my interview on Friday. I had a really great workout, made dinner, and I've got a little bit of a stomach ache. I took something for it, and I'm thinking maybe some coffee might help. Haha, okay, so since you all got a great laugh from my spider story, Mark and I had a discussion about what happened. He said I work him up by saying there was a spider. I don't remember that. He asked me if it was a dream or for real, and to be honest, I HAVE NO IDEA! I thought he was the one who said there was a spider! Anyways, so, to get me back for waking him up at 4 AM, he told everyone at work. Hahaha! I sleep with a fan on me because I like to sleep in a cool room, plus I need constant air circulation for my asthma and allergies. I am thinking I was dreaming, but the fan blew some of my hair across my face to make my body think there was a spider. Does that make sense? Haha, I hope so! Anyways, I'm glad we can laugh about it, but I'm glad there wasn't a spider because I think I have a slight case of arachnophobia, or fear of spiders. :)
Kathryn I HATE SPIDERS!! So I feel ya on that. And Randy and I have a fan that runs 24/7 because of his allergies too, and I rarely wake up stuffy from having the fan going and that is always nice.
1:25 PM. Wow! This thread has been quiet today! I have been reviewing this book of the hospital's interview questions Mark brought home for me, so I haven't read Different Seasons. Right now, I'm taking a break to eat a sandwich and some applesauce. I'm going to workout later, but most of the afternoon I will be going over these questions. Hope all of you are having a great day! :)
Hope you're having a great day as well, Kathryn.1:27 p.m. Majorly bummed today. Don't know what to do with myself.

On the plus side I won a book in a GR giveaway.
3:34PM Just got back a little bit ago from town, went to the book store, I swear they should know us by name now. Took Amy to a meeting she had to attend, then took Cort to work. We stopped and also got Kay a few pairs of new Jeans. She will be happy. (I hope). Now sitting here getting ready to enjoy a book. Gonna have tuna salad for dinner and then have a work out.
Kathryn good luck on all that! Hope everything goes well for you at your interview.
Holly sorry you are having a bum day. That is no fun!
Sorry about the bad week Chris, totally understandable as to why you would not wanna talk a lot. But gratz on your win. I never win those. :/ maybe some day!

Sorry :-( - I don't have that problem. Wish I could have one day to be bored. Wouldn't want it to happen a lot though.

5:30 p.m. and I'm cooking dinner. Have to pick a friend up at 7:15 p.m. Haven't got much reading done at all this week and it's irritating the crap out of me. HOPEFULLY, I will get at least a couple hours in tonight.
10.32 pmWatching "10 most annoying things about 1995" and cooing with nostalgia. I was seven years old and remember most of this (not the political stuff) with fond memories of someone who didn't know any better.
725pm- horrible storm here-also just put on the news and there's a terrible fire in the southern portion of my state- jersey shore can't catch a break lately-my heart goes out to all affected
good luck with the interview Kathryn!
chris & holly- hope you both feel better soon.
6:55 PM. I had a really great workout, then got a shower. Mark helped me pick out something to wear tomorrow. :) It's a Project Runway and breakfast for dinner kind of night. I think I might either keep reviewing the interview questions or read a bit in Different Seasons. Rachel, thank you! I just saw the fire in Jersey on TV. It made me sad because of everything you guys have been through. I saw it was an area which had just been rebuilt, too. :/
Almost 8pm here in the islands. Just had dinner, turkey, bacon, and tomato on wheat, kept it light since it is another late meal. Getting ready to start The Jigsaw Man. Trying to get my last 10 books read for the a-z challenge. I have to read a j, o, p, q, r, u, v, x, y, and z. Well Jigsaw Man takes care of the j at least. think I will just kill them off in order.
8:10PM Enjoying some coffee. I might either read or move more of my short stories over. Not sure yet. Hub watching TV, I watched a little with him, it really is not my thing.
Rachel stay safe!
Rachel stay safe!
9:50 p.m. and I'm sicker than a dog. Wonder if a flu bug is going around. Already called work and told them I might not be in tomorrow. Sorry folks but I have to go to bed tonight.
Have my precious puppy, Phebe (Pomeranian), in my lap, petting her. She is actually 13 and has been very sick. I just want to give her all the love I can.

Thank you Lisa. I hope your baby gets better soon.
7:01AM I did not wanna get up this AM, and I even went to sleep early last night. LOL Kay just left for school. I am about to make some breakfast and have some coffee. Then I am gonna read. Kay is having a friend over tonight. Sure hope she likes fish. LOL
7:50 AM. I've been up for a while playing games on my phone in bed until The Boy got up to get ready for work. Today is my interview at 1:30. Say a prayer for me if you would like. :) After Mark leaves, I'm going to eat some breakfast and read a little before I have to start getting ready. Happy Friday the 13th!!!
Haha, Janie! You crack me up! I have actually been wanting fish for a few days. Maybe that is what we should have for dinner tonight.
LOL Kathryn, Kay does not even like fish. So not sure about Katy, her friend. Katy is pretty picky, but Kay will eat just about everything(except fish lol). So I guess we will see. Good luck today!
Good luck with your interview Kathryn!! :-)10:58 a.m. I don't think I've had enough coffee yet because I want to go back to sleep lol.
Hope to be productive today ans get some work done. I guess we'll see how that goes!
2:07PM Getting ready to read some more before picking the girls up from school. Got a lot done today so I have not read too much so far. Really getting excited about our Halloween reads! YAY!
3:20 p.m. and I stayed home from work today. Slept until a little after noon, ate some chicken noodle soup, and finished Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three. Plan to stay home and close to the bathroom. Just in case. Want to get some reading done and take it easy. I think all this constant running and working has finally caught up with me. Feeling better than I did at least.

Yes I find it can be very relaxing just I love listening to the philharmonic orchestras so I end up concentrating on the music and just feeling the emotions through the piece instead of meditating.
