It's 8:36PM and I am uploading a new audio book, enjoying some quiet time with a cold beer. I'll get some reading in later before bed, checking in here to say hello.

8:40pm. Needing to go into my "book" room and get reading. Haven't really been in the mood. Work has worn me out the last two weeks mentally. But thing shave finally settled!!! Working on my lists and challenges for 2013 too

9:06 PM. Sitting here with a nice, warm fire, my Gizmo girl, and about to get back to my book. The boy is watching t.v., and I'm trying to drown out the sound by getting lost in literature. :)

It's 1:51am, and I'm awake with leg pain after sleeping for almost 4 hours. Took some pain pills which are reliable for relief, so I'll feel better soon. Planning to just stay up for the rest of the night and will spend the time reading (after I'm done on GR). I do love GR--it's always interesting and thought provoking, and I love to hear what everyone's been up to. It's great to have GR friends!

It's 11:32am and I've just finished making spicy rosemary cashews for hub's Christmas party tomorrow. Finished one book and ready to start another. Nothing but reading and playing with my puppy this afternoon.

It's 2:30am and after sleeping for a while I got up to take pain pills and decided to just stay up and read. I love this time of night when all is quiet and peaceful. Not much planned for today except for laundry and, of course, reading. Friday night so it's pizza night!! Yay!!

7:38AM Enjoying my first cup of coffee. Kay left for school about a half hour ago. We have the grandblessing all this weekend! YAY! He is still sleeping. And it is finally Friday! WOOT! 1:19pm I just returned from my kids school where I do lunch supervision sometimes. It sure felt good to see my kids, and hug them! Now to ice the cake and start the spaghetti and rib dinner my girl wants for dinner.

11:10 PM. Kind of had a busy night. Had a nice talk with my favorite sis-in-law. She lives in Oregon and surprised me with a phone call. It made my day. :) Just now sitting down to read and finish my book. Waiting on my husband to go to bed so I can read without the t.v. on. Gizmo girl is on my lap curled up, with her sweet little paws out in front her. :)

It's 8:13am and I've been up since 3:30. Read till a little while ago, almost done with my current book(s). Now watching news coverage of the horrific school shooting. I don't know how much of this I can take. Tragic and heart-wrenching.

It's 8:13pm and I'm enjoying checking out GR. Feeling too sleepy to read much so I'm looking at a book with a bunch of pictures of glaciers melting. The photography is amazing. Hub is watching home improvement shows and I'm snuggled up under a blanket on the couch. (I just noted that this morning I posted at 8:13am. Weird coincidence.)

9:33 PM. Just checking GR and FINALLY relaxing! Had a busy, great day! Had breakfast with my love, a movie and lunch with a friend of mine who came into town, then went all over town with my dad Christmas shopping for my husband. Then, we got some food, and Dad left a little bit ago. Whew...I missed my GR friends today, but especially my husband and kitties. Gizmo REALLY missed me, too. And I missed reading! Going to try to finish my book tonight. :)

3.19pm at work and counting the minutes until home time (5pm) so that I can go home and spend some time in my veggie garden, do some cooking and then settle down on the couch with a glass of wine and 'The Twelve'. I've been so busy the last few days that I've hardly had a chance to read so it will be nice to make some progress.

The Hobbit isn't released here until 26th Dec - I need to get my butt into gear and read it before then!! Hope you enjoyed it Terri and Karli :)

It's 3:39am and I'm up early again. Spending quality time browsing around GR. Getting ready to do some reading and drink some more coffee. (I'm probably not going to see The Hobbit till Christmas Day--assuming I can talk the men in my family [hub and 2 sons] into that over the latest Bond.)

The latest Bond is actually good! I don't normally like them but my nanna is a fan so I took her and was pleasantly surprised.
