John Scalzi told me we might as well read Old Man's War, since it's party of the Humble Bundle and all.
I saw John Scalzi last weekend at CapClave. He's charming, gracious, and funny. I'm so glad I went. One of my favorite authors ever!
I'm convinced Old Man's War will never be read here. The fight to get it selected as a pick has gone on too long. So I encourage all to pick it up and read it on their own. It's short. It's fun. Afterwards make many references to it on the forums so Tom and Veronica can feel left out. :-)I've had so much going on IRL I haven't had time to read with the group lately and I sorely miss it.

David Sven wrote: "They cloned Bruce Willis?"Umm ... That would be a caricature of John Scalzi himself -- in greenskin.
Just started reading Old Man's War. Thanks for talking about it so much. I'm really enjoying it. :-)
