~KarenH~ | 11371 comments Hi Nikki!

I finished another pick, Giving Chase, and I really liked it! I can't believe that it took me this long to read it, and it's actually my first book by Lauren Dane. It definitely won't be the last though, I've already picked up the second book in the series. :) Thanks again for the great picks - I'm not sure if I'll get through any others this month or not, but several more are definitely on my short list!

That's great! It was definitely a wild, confusing ride. I'm actually planning to read book 2 for some challenge this month. The reviews coming in have been fantastic!

I finished my first book Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor really enjoyed this one. For a YA book not too "teenager-ish" which I appreciated. 4.5*'s for me. I'm planning on reading the second in the series next month.
I have started my second book Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning

Sandra (vanillagirl) | 13 comments Hi Shosho, I just finished my first book Cinder. It was based on Cinderella but with a twist so you don't really know what will happen. It was futuristic too. I rated it 4. Starting my second book some time next week. School is really getting on my nerves. Got lots of things to do. :(

Yay! I'm so glad you liked that one! That was also my first series by her and its also one of my all time favorites! Another good one from her is the Brown Siblings; whenever you get the chance you should look into that one too! I've re-read both series many times! MountainKat | 31763 comments Hi Nancy, I finished my pick Real Men Last All Night (Lexi Steele, #1.5) this evening. I really enjoyed it, nice anthology. I'm sorry, I didn't notice until I finished that you said you might want to read that as a buddy read. If you decide to read it anyway, I would be happy to discuss it with you.

message 417: by Gea (new)

Gea (gea89) | 545 comments As Ab2y mentioned we finished our buddy read for Down to You by M. Leighton and it was a nice quick read but a bit disappointing for me after all those good reviews.

I've just read Game for Anything (Bad Boys of Football, #1) by Bella Andre and as it was fourth oldest book on my TBR I'm grateful I finally managed to read it

message 418: by Pollyanna (new)

Pollyanna (polly8) | 300 comments Hey Dee, I finished Good Girls Don't (Donovan Brothers Brewery, #1) by Victoria Dahl last night and gave it 4 stars, it was a fun, easy read and I really liked the characters, looking forward to reading Jamie's story. Thanks for picking it.

Finished my second book Faefever. Hated the ending. Threw the book across the room. Ack!! However thanks for the push to get it off my TBR pile. I have the next two in the series and probably won't wait so long to get back to it. Just started Who Do, Voodoo?

Did you read the prequel short story in The Guy Next Door (Includes Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor #0.5; Donovan Brothers Brewery #0.5) by Lori Foster ? It makes a difference for better understanding of the older brother's story. Really liked the series.

The Fool's Gold is good but has sort of jumped the shark at this point. The Bakery Sisters is a good one though. I like the youngest sister's story the best.

yeah the ending in Faefever is a doozy - i try to warn ppl about it before I recommend the series to them, because it is really one where when you get to that point, you just need to read the last 2 books to finish it up

I actually ended up reading the first THREE books in the Molly Harper series. Lots of fun. Really enjoyed the whole thing. As far as Tempted goes, a solid four star read. I don't give five stars on a first read and I rarely go back and re-read a book. But this one might make the short list.

Dee ~ I don't remember anyone saying anything about this when ifirst started reading/seeing how everyone liked this series ~ not necessarily in this group. Quite honestly all the men in this book seem to piss me off and Barrons seems to top the list at this point. I just think he is an a$$. I'll finish it but I have to take a small break. I will pick up the next book next month just can't do it now.

I liked it a lot and it was a sweet and fun read! I need to read more from this author!

message 432: by Larissa (new)

Larissa | 138 comments Hi Sallie! I've just finished Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, #1) by Richelle Mead and adored it. Rated it 4 stars. I guess Georgina confused me with so many men on the line, so I couldn't really enjoy one of them specifically, but I loved Seth. Really refreshing, after all those dominant-like males I've been reading about recently. This book was on my TBR list for a really long time, so thanks for pushing me to this series, and I'll probably go for the next one now.

If it's the first Harper non-PNR then you missed a really good one with And One Last Thing ... by Molly Harper . I know it's not my turn to pick one for you but you should really remedy the situation.

Bror (Abrar) (ab2y) | 152 comments I finished The Dom Who Loved Me (Masters and Mercenaries, #1) by Lexi Blake it was a great read , i gave it 4 stars , i wanted to give it 5 but books with multiple narrator and points of view annoy me .

And i read The Marriage Bargain (Marriage to a Billionaire, #1) by Jennifer Probst it just remind me of old Harlequin novelas (Oh he's rich - he's an old crush - she need money for a very noble cause - let's get married - oops we love each other) yup that's about it , so i gave it 3 stars .

~Melissa~ | 2098 comments Finished my third book for the month Who Do, Voodoo? (A Mind For Murder Mystery #1) by Rochelle Staab . Kind of a slow start but interesting mystery and characters. The heroine's mother drove me nuts though with her never-ending need to try to get her daughter back with her ex husband. 3 stars
