I just finished this too. Good thing napanalunan ko ito sa GR First Reads. Excellent history book that reads like an adventure novel.

Congratulations, Ryan. Natapos mo rin. Ganda pa ang mga picture. Si Vanville at 17 sobrang totoy pa. Naawa naman ako. Pero parang somewhere in the middle of the story, may nabanggit na tumanda raw sa Baler dahil nag-enjoy doon at di na bumalik sa Amerika. Akala ko, all the while, si Vanville yon. Tapos doon sa dulo, aba, nawawala pa rin at (view spoiler)[napatay pala si Vanville. (hide spoiler)] panay ang hanap ng nanay nya sa kanya.

Palagay ko magiging magandang documentary film ito. May napansin lang akong isang mali sa ARC. Tinawag na "Bayang Magiliw" ang taytol ng pambansang awit.
