The Hit and Run by R.L. Stine is about four high schoolers named Cassie,Scott,Eddie and Bruce that go out one evening to practice their driving on a deserted raod. When they go back home they accidentally hit and kill a man crossing the street. The four of them try and keep it a secret. The next day in the news they found out that the corpse of the man they killed is reported missing from the morgue. Then later the four of them start receiving threatening phone calls and notes on their doorsteps from the man that they killed. Then the man is trying killed the four of them to get revenge of them. They trying to find if man isn't dead or is it a joke?
I give this book a 5 because I enjoy reading the book. I loved the part when the man is threatening phone calls and notes to them. People would loved reading this book beacause is has horror,action and mysterious in the book and people loved reading those kind of books.
