I'm getting a new ereader and am after recommendations of places to get ebooks (paid or free) wither here in the UK or international. There is of course Amazon but where else?

Smashwords, Barnes and Noble, Sony ebook store, Apple store. Can also depend on what ereader you get.
We are lucky because our local library lends ebooks. You could try overdrive.com to check what libraries near you do that. Also, sign up to bookbub. They offer free and reduced ebook specials every day and I've got some good ones from them.
Enjoy your ereader! I still love the real thing, but ereaders are so handy and compact, particularly for travelling.

I occasionally use http://www.tuebl.com/ for free ebook goodness.Although I should point out that the legality of this site it slightly in question to say the least!!
