On the group homepage, scroll down until you see the heading "1001 Book List". The first, starred topic in that folder is "* 1001 Books You Must Read List: 2006 & 2008 & 2010 Versions". The post in that topic has links to the various places where you can find the list online. Please be aware that there are 4 editions of 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die -- 2006 (original), 2008 (282 books dropped and replaced with a more international selection), 2010 (minor changes), and 2012 (minor changes). The link for 1 More Chapter is the most complete/up-to-date.
Also, Charity has done a stellar job of getting all the books from all the editions on the group's bookshelves. They should be more or less complete. If you notice any discrepancies, let her know.
You could also buy one of the official books, like 1001 Books: You Must Read Before You Die. In the books the editor who put the list together also explains why he thinks each book is listworthy. I don't have one myself, and sometimes I'd like to look up why Boxall decided to put a certain book on the list. But with four different versions I wouldn't know which one I'd want to get.

someone also posted a cvs file with all the books. I used that to import all the books in to my book shelf

I am not with my spreadsheet or my 2008 edition,
That makes sense, Liz. Things get confusing for me because I just work off of one big combined list (I figure if a book was good enough to be added at any point, it's good enough for me to still count it even if it gets dropped from a later edition). Plus, the only physical edition I own is the 2006.

Could someone point me in the right direction.
Sorry for the newbie question.
