Slight problem with the book unpacking in that I haven't gotten around to getting shelves for the new house yet. Book mountains against the walls it is!
LOL - while you're at it - make a Fortress! ;)
Good Luck finding your book. Half my books are packed for our move (only the read ones, he he he, I need ready access to my tbr)

I've given up on the searching in the book boxes and resorting to the kindle version. At least I can find that one. I just have to finish the July read A Game of Thrones first as I'm really liking that one.

#8 Rules of Civility
I'm almost caught up to my projected goal for this time of the year. (I'm one book behind right now.)

I hope you're ok, Adrienne! My car was totaled earlier this year, so I know just all the hassle you're going through -- insurance, choosing a replacement car. etc. I'm happy with my new one now, though, so I hope soon you will be.

Aw thanks, Susan. I am remarkably uninjured for how mashed up my car is. Just a few bruises. I think I'll buy another one of those cars.

I felt the same way about my Prius. I was rear-ended, and the entire trunk crumpled up like an accordion, but I didn't even feel a twinge of anything.

I finished A Monstrous Regiment of Women. That means 21 down of the 50 I was going to try to do in the year.

Only rolled a 3 this time. Another Baldacci book True Blue.

Next rolled a 4. The Christmas Train.
Note to self - Start from position 14

Next roll: 6+3, so number 16
In Siberia. Travel writing. Perfect for the last blaze of Indian summer here in Oklahoma.

Adrienne wrote: "Alrighty. That's Arcadia read. Now, another 11. To number 36. Kind of Kin which takes place in my home state."
So... I think you've reached your goal for the year? and are just going on to see how many more you can smash down or have you revised your goal to a higher number, Adrienne?

5 books to go!

It's a vicious cycle, LynnB!
I have to confess that one day, I got really bored and just started rolling and rolling and now my list looks a complete mess so I can't really be bothered looking at it :(
Thinking I'll restart at beginning of year and try to keep my list neat & tidy by limiting my rolls ;p
It's awesome that you got your "old" books off the TBR!! At least you have a good excuse on adding new ones ;)

I started out with the same problem and so I started limiting myself to no more than 4-5 rolls ahead. It helped because I was starting to feel overwhelmed with the list again.

That's a great idea! Mine is a real mess, because I weeded my TBR midway through the year, adding a "considering" shelf for things I was less sure about.
