Once I get the book, we can start. Im only reading the group read as well. A few others on my own. I wanted to join HA in their group read, but couldnt get a copy of the book.
I'm sorry I've been kind of MIA but I moved into an apartment and I don't have Internet yet. Would you like to start Beast House soon?

When I finish brides of the impaler I plan on reading The Summer I Died, Before Leonora Wakes and Among Prey if anyone would like to join me
anyone want to read The Cannibals of Candyland
The Cannibals of Candyland
by Carlton Mellick III (Goodreads Author)
3.93 · rating details · 241 ratings · 48 reviews
There exists a race of cannibals who are made out of candy. They live in an underground world filled with lollipop forests and gumdrop goblins. During the day, while you are away at work, they come above ground and prowl our streets for food. Their prey: your children. They lure young boys and girls to them with their sweet scent and bright colorful candy coating, then rip them apart with razor sharp teeth and claws. When he was a child, Franklin Pierce witnessed the death of his siblings at the hands of a candy woman with pink cotton candy hair. Since that day, the candy people have become his obsession. He has spent his entire life trying to prove that they exist. And after discovering the entrance to the underground world of the candy people, Franklin finds himself venturing into their sugary domain. His mission: capture one of them and bring it back, dead or alive. Cannibals of Candyland is an erotic horror story for the bizarro reader. Dark, disturbing, and absurd; this isn't the board game version of candy land you used to play as a kid.(less)

after I read the next section of the group read I plan on reading one of wrath james whites novellas. either Population Zero To The Death or The Killings with J F Gonzalez if anyone wants to read one of those with me.
population zero it is. I will make a thread tonight when I do all my other Sunday night moderator stuff.
I found to the death doing a random search on Amazon it is new but there was never any kind of announcement or promotion so it wouldn't surprise me if that's the only place it is for sale. the ebook it 3.99 but I might just buy the print edition for 9.99 I have most of his books in print and ten bucks isn't bad for it.
Anyone want to read Infernal Angel my kindle died and I have a print copy of it in my locker so its kind of late notice but iam starting it tonight. I will stop at 25% and wait if anyone wants to read it.
I decided to wait and just play with my teraminx tonight instead so I can do a buddy read on it later. Kate said she would do a buddy read on it also but she is doing the buddy read wih you on endurance right now. There may be more people who read the first one with the group read that will want in on it.
Had no idea what a teraminx was so I looked it up on wiki...props to ya, I was never good at those cubes...lol.
Let me know when you are ready to read it. I will dig up the infernal city thread and post about it in there so anyone who commented in there will see that we are readings the next one.
Does anyone have Naomi's Room by Jonathan Ayecliffe? I plan on reading it in may if neone wants to join me. Not sure if I spelled his last name right.
Ok. Cool. Looking forward to it. Been itching for another Laymon book and this one has some good reviews.
I am pretty swamped right now with all my buddy/ group reads but would anyone be interested in reading Flesh sometime next month? the person who recommended it to me described it as the tv show walking dead with lots and lots of sex.
I've got a few paperbacks I'm finishing up for June and am ready to start a few more for July. I know, its a month away..lol. But I'm gonna be starting Books of Blood 1 by Barker and Lady by Thomas Tryon. If anyone has them or wants to join me, let me know:)
Hi Addy, I'm going to pass on this.
If you're interested I'm starting a read with Nikki next week for Sandman Slim

Think I'm gonna pass on Sandman Slim Kate. I did, however, just ordered Wasp Factory and Burnt Offerings if anyone would be interested in a buddy read for August. I'd nom them as group reads but eBook versions aren't available or way expensive.
I've just noticed that Skinner/Kevin has deleted his account. I was in the middle of a ginormous buddy read with him. We were reading Serial Killers Uncut and all the associated novels with the read.
Is anyone interested in keeping it going with me?

I noticed he was no longer in the group, he left right after I gave a bad review to a book he recommended to me and I thought maybe he was upset about it.
I kind of suspect he wrote and self published the book himself under a fake name because he gave everything from the author five stars and the one I read was pure crap. I couldn't even find the other book he recommended from that author because there was a typo in the title, and he recommended them to everyone and gave them all five stars and was raving about them both here and at HA. maybe I am wrong though, I just don't see how he could love them that much with how badly written they where. and then he left the group when I gave it a bad review.
sucks about your buddy read, I already read them all in order once or I would do it with you. I will discuss with you, it just might not be very fresh in my mind.
I don't know if anyone has read The Wolf Gift but if you have I am getting ready to read the sequel that just came out The Wolves of Midwinter as soon add I get cough up on the group reads that start tomorrow
I've got a non-horror book that I'm planning on reading soon if anyone wants to buddy read. Clockwork Angels: The Novel
