Honor Harrington--Shadow of Saganami - Roll Call and First Impressions (NO SPOILERS)

This is the second spinoff book for the Honorverse but not a direct sequel to last month's read. Even if you missed last month, jump right in!

I'll kick it off... read this one back in 2007. I'm planning a serious Honorverse catch up session, to include Shadow of Saganami, right after the Star Wars novel I'm breezing through. I remember enjoying this one a lot.

As soon as I finish Grass I'll start reading this as my 'alternate' to the unending Wheel of Time re-read I'm mired in. :)

Read it a couple years ago. Might get a copy from the libary to re-read but I think I remember the plot well enough to not need to.

I've been playing catch up, reading the whole series is September and October. I'm almost there and should get to read this one with the group!

I started this a couple of days ago. I find myself skimming quite a bit (the info dumps mostly). If I find later that I've missed a key plot point, I'll re-read a section or just try to forge ahead and gather what I can from the context.
