If you could meet any author who would it be? What would you ask them? what would you tell them?

I think I would meet either Naomi Novik or Steven Brust. (no surprise there). Not sure what I would ask them though. I will have to think about it really hard. Maybe the mystery to all of life or something? Haha!

Ya, it was in that one.
I just ask the question though, you said that we should make this a thread!

suzanne collins, i'd ask her hw she does it and if she could read my stuff and tell me what i can improve. I'd tell her that i think she is amazing writer and that i'm glad she went after her dream.

L I'm assuming that this question is connected to those authors who have written works about Dragons.

I would love to meet Anna McCaffrey and ask questions about her increadible work. Where her ideas stemmed from and what inspired her so much to write about Dragons. She is a legend and an increadible writer.

I haven't. Should I? What is it about?
Anyway, it is okay that you put Collins.

:D It's kinda hard to explain, but they really are good books, they are kinda a lower level of reading i think, but i loved them so much! great story and wonderful characters. pretty much you have to read them for yourself because if i tell you anything it will be a spoiler for the story! they are also a couple hundred pages so it's an ok thick book!

George R R Martin and Stephen King. I would ask 'em: is the cake a lie?
Or I'd ask them to write a Drabble about Ashuton Karrucci.

If I could meet Arika Takarano, I'd love to ask her a thousand and one questions, starting with: can I sing with you?!

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) J.R.R. Tolkien. All the authors I'd like to meet are dead now ;_;

That is so sad...

Nichelle Rae I love this thread topic! I would have to say C.S. Lewis just because I'm a Christian that writes fantasy as well and I would love to talk to him about his testimony as well as get advice from him on how to deal with the people that may or may not have giving him a hard time for his choice of genre to write.

That's a good idea :)

That is a interesting combination to write in. One that I think would be fun to make metaphors to the Christian faith while making a story out of this world.
