Non-existing authors with profiles

Hi,

I have stumbled upon two profiles and I am confused, and insecure what to do, that is if I can do anything at all.

Angola Pepetela: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

Pepetela is the pen-name of this author: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/... and Angola simply the place where he was born and the settings of his novels. I have also removed him as a secondary author from one novel.

Bolao: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

which is a mis-spelling of Roberto Bolaño http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

It looks like the non-existing author was attached too at one point to a novel of the existing, even already dead, author.

Will those get deleted automatically at some time? I assume there is some cleaning up once in a while

Yes, empty profiles will eventually get cleaned up by a script that's run every so often. However, I've gone ahead and merged both of these empty misspellings with the proper spellings; no harm in it.

I've merged the misspelled profiles with the right one and combined the editions.

Thanks Luisa, I have tried to straighten things out before but at one point I was at a loss how to go on further. I appreciate the help :)
