Did anybody see Newt and Minho as lovers?

I think Newt is gay, but not Minho.
Although Newt's feelings for Minho might be more than just friendly.
Also, I'm pretty certain James Dashner didn't write it with that in mind, but it's what I kept thinking while reading these books.

YES LOL BUT NO ONE ELSE DID XD but part of it was that someone told me that they were and then I started shipping them only to find out that there was nothing between them :( lol
Wow. Not once did I picture these two, or anyone in these books as gay... like really?! Its just a fangirl's thoughts gone way too far haha :')
I thought they were but I guess they were just best friends :D but in an interview James Dashner did say that Newt was gay

No, I didn't get that feeling at all from their relationship, but looking back, I couldn't see Minho gay, but maybe Newt & maybe he was interested in Thomas. But that's a big stretch.

No, I did not see them as lovers in the books, although I do (and I don't regret it) ship them together when it comes to fanfiction.
It is so remarkable but no less stupid that I have to conclude that especially desperate teenage girls addicted to their male character (Newt and Minho for example) could get in a shock when Dashner will ever definitively declare that one of his male characters might be gay . So they keep on denying and ignoring. Just the same as it goes for their male music idols. Numerous members of boys bands are gay but have not yet gotten around to get of the closet because they don't want to disappoint wet teenage girls. If they should so, lots of screaming girls would get a nervous breakdown: off with their bedroom fantasies. (Fiction) love makes blind ...And Dashner plays that same game by (still) not telling that Newt might be gay . Why are you so afraid mr.Dashner? Why did you not create an obvious gay character? All for the money? Poor!
Well, I do not think Minho is gay. I think Newt MAY be, and I think that he developed a quick bond with Thomas that was almost to fast for it to be in a friend kind of way. I think that it would make sense for Thomas to cling to Newt, seeing as he was one of the nicest to him, but he showed his friendship more with Newt than he did with Chuck, so I’m not sure about Thomas. But back to the question, I do not see Minho as a gay character, or as someone wanting to have a relationship with Newt.
Absolutely not. They n e v e r read like that, in any way. Minho sarcastic and teasing newt all the time? Completely normal among friends. Newt caring about Minho on such a deep level? That's what crisis times will do to a f r i e n d s h i p. I think you're making something out of absolutely nothing.

LOL! No! They're just good friends... After you spend about 2 year together in a maze I would expect there to be some pretty good FRIENDSHIPS. I could never see them together like that! They had one of those close manly friendships; Everyone has to have seen one of those!
